2) Eita, Fenix (AAA), Freelance, Mike Segura b Cerebro Negro, Dr. Cerebro, Kaving, Kortiz

4) Heavy Metal, Pantera, Super Astro, Súper Muñeco TLDRAW Chessman, Hijo de Máscara Año 2000, Máscara Año 2000 Jr., Villano III
Rayman and Cien Caras Jr. were announced for this match, but pulled out to work TxT instead. Heavy Metal and Mascara Ano 2000 Jr. replaced them. Match finish announced as time limit draw. No time limit had been mentioned for any match in the lead up, and no specific time limit seems mentioned in the recaps of the match. Match was built around V3.
6) Cien Caras & Dr. Wagner Jr. b Solar I & Toscano [losers advance, quarterfinal]
seeding battle royal set up teams (and allowed Dr. Wagner Jr. and LA Park to tease a fight against each other.)
7) Máscara Año 2000 & Rayo de Jalisco Jr. b Casandro & Hijo de Pirata Morgan [losers advance, quarterfinal]
Rayo & Mascara fought after the match.
8) El Mesías & Mil Mascaras b Ray Mendoza Jr. & Villano IV [losers advance, quarterfinal]
9) LA Park & Universo 2000 b Súper Nova & Texano Jr. [losers advance, quarterfinal]
10) Solar I & Toscano b Casandro & Hijo de Pirata Morgan [losers advance, semifinal]
Casandro hurt his previously blown out knee on a dive.
11) Súper Nova & Toscano b Ray Mendoza Jr. & Villano IV [losers advance, semifinal]
Super Nova had his mask ripped, bled, and was in rough shape, but Toscano got away with a foul to win.
12) Ray Mendoza Jr. & Villano IV b Casandro & Hijo de Pirata Morgan [losers advance, final]
Casandro pinned V4 with a huricanrana. Mendoza beat Pirata & Casandro by himself to give himself the big win on his self promoted retirement show. Hijo del Pirata Morgan was announced as Antheus Ortiz Chaves (spelling of first name varies depending on source), 21 years of age, 7 years a lucahdor. Cassandro got his hair cut, but not shaved off. Pirata Family attacked after the match, and they were run off by the Villano Family.
This was an expensive party to throw for yourself. Not a well attended one either; the floor seems full, but most of the first balcony seems empty and there’s no one past that. Names of previous eras don’t seem to draw on their own, mask and hairs matches for no particular reason don’t seem to draw.
CMLL (SUN) 03/17/2013 Arena Mexico [CMLL]
1) Camaleón & Leono b Espanto Jr. & Herodes Jr.
Not shown on Terra.
2) Bobby Zavala, Disturbio, Hooligan b Hombre Bala Jr., Magnus, Super Halcón Jr.
tecnicos take fall 1, rudos dropkicked Hombre in the backside so hard that his head banged into ring post in the second, and he was quite hurting the rest of the way. Hooligan beat him with the Hooligan Crash in the third.
3) Hijo del Signo, Nitro, Skándalo b Diamante, Metálico, Tritón
Tecnicos took the first, including Metalico submitting Signo with nudo. Tuareg did Tuareg things to win the second fall, including a Skandalo Driver. Signo attacked Metailco between falls. Diamante beat Metailco with the low blow corner doprkick and Nitro powerbombed Diamante, Triton took Nitro out with an Asai moonsault, and Metalico submitted Signo for the win.
4) Fuego b Sangre Azteca [lightning]
Fuego won with the Flashina cradle in 7:13
5) Ángel de Oro, Diamante Azul, La Máscara b Averno, Kráneo, Misterioso Jr.
Rudos took fall 1, tecnicos took fall 2 – Averno ripped up a girl’s sign, and Mascara avenged her with a campana. Averno took the card and tries to use it, but Edgar was able to pull it away. Tecnicos – Mascara with a ranita on Misterioso & Azul with a ‘rana on Kraneo – won fall 3 clean.
6) Euforia, Último Guerrero, Volador Jr. DQ La Sombra, Marco Corleone, Mistico
Sombra tried to attack Volador before the mach but ended up taking the worst of it. Rudos beat Mistico with what was supposed to be a press slam to a double gutbuster, but took a knee to the face. Tecnicos came back in a short second fall for the win. Final came down to Volador and Sombra, with Volador snapping, attacking referee Maya, and fouling Sombra for the DQ. Volador stormed off without saying anything post match, while Sombra challenged for a mask match. Crowd was much more reception to Mistico, cheering him over Volador, than they had been previously.
It still seems like there’s something coming with Metalico and Hijo del Signo, but they didn’t loudly signal anything here. Arena Coliseo Anniversary show is in two weeks (which may have been a reason this show took place in Arena Mexico this week, since that’s a more usual Sunday Arena Mexico date.)
Second match was good and the Arena Coliseo Tag Team titles clearly needs to end up with either Hombre Bala & Super Halcon or Disturbio & Bobby Zavala. And both those teams still need names.
IWRG (SUN) 03/17/2013 Arena Naucalpan
1) Araña de Plata & Fulgore b Dr. Diabolico & Galaxi
Dr. Diabolico replaced Mr. Leo.
2) Ángel Del Amor & Saruman b Avisman & Imposible
Tecnicos took 1/3.
3) Chico Che, Golden Magic, Veneno b Apolo Estrada Jr., Black Terry, Tomahawk
Tecnicos took 2/3, with Veneno and Apolo somewhat feuding (but mostly fooling around.)
4) Dinamic Black b Carta Brava Jr. [IWRG IC WELTER]
Dinamic Black is champion. Seconds were Apolo Estrada and Golden Magic. Apolo got thrown out in the third fall for stomping on Golden Magic on the outside. Attempt at first defense.
5) Pirata Morgan L Rayo de Jalisco Jr. and Máscara Año 2000 Jr. and Cien Caras Jr. [cage, mask, hair]
Rayo was first out, followed by Cien Caras Jr. Hijo de Mascara Ano 2000 and Pirata Morgan Jr. both climbed into the cage to interfere, escaped, and then fought on top of the cage. Mascara Ano 2000 r. got over the top, so he got the win. Dinamitas took Hijo del Pirata’s mask.
I was watching the chat and AAA results thru this show, but I thought the title match was good. Main event pushed more Dinamitas/Piratas issue. Everyone, announced and luchadors, noted how it was a bad week for the Piratas.
This show was pretty well attended. I think the Villano V show would have looked pretty full in this size of building.
Guadalajara & El Signo retirement (which also looked well attended) results will be in tomorrow post. AAA results are below and will get the usual solo post when they’re on their posted.

5) Princesa Guerrera & Tiffany b Baby Star & Estrellita
Estrellita & Tiffany replaced Marcela & Amapola
6) Dragón Rojo Jr., Pagano, Último Guerrero b Aereo (Ciudad Juarez), Ángel de Oro, Máscara Dorada
Mascara Dorada did the rope walking bit before the match.
Attendance looked to be 1,000. Show sounded good.
Mistico, Shocker and Tigre del Ring defeated Chicano, Mr. Niebla and Felino in the re-inauguration of Coliseo Chihuahua on Saturday. Locals Puma Balderrama, Tormento Chino II, Apache de Chihuahua, Danny Alavarez and Carmelinda were the first inductees into their new hall of fame.
Yahoo Deportes! posted post match videos of bald Amapola & defeated Fiebre Amarilla talking about their losses, plus Cometa & Stuka talking about their wins, and Rayo de Jalisco Sr. saying he doesn’t go to wrestling any more.
DTU announced Juvi will work their March shows, and their DF stop will be at Super X’s Arena Sur.

A visitor to Mexico City goes to see lucha libre for the first time, with the girlfriend of one of the luchadors – at a IWRG FILL show! I think they’re ruined for all other lucha.
