Inquisidor and Taurus are not a promising team

Leono, Metálico, Molotov vs Apocalipsis, Inquisidor, Taurus: This felt like an opener, which makes it problematic that it was a second match. The first fall finish here is a fine addition to the upcoming Worst Of Inquisidor DVD. Tecnicos were generally fine, rudos not so much. The double pin in the third fall makes it stick out – they probably should do more of those so it feels more like an ‘authentic’ finish when they do them in ciberneticos – but kind of sad for Leono to be going to double pins with Apocalipsis. Land of the lost here.

Amapola far too excited to beat Goya Kong

Dalis la Caribeña, Goya Kong, Silueta vs Amapola, La Comandante, Tiffany: This was a bad women’s match. This was no particular surprise with the técnico lineup (and not helped with them making sure Silueta got the least time and slow Dalys got the most.) This aired for 24:29. The entirety of the last En Busca de un Idolo was 23:55. This match did nothing for anyone in it, that episode would’ve been a big deal if anyone saw it. Why does everything have to be so hard? At least the right team won.

Misterioso, jerk

Delta, Hijo del Fantasma, Tritón vs Ephesto, Euforia, Misterioso Jr.: A okay match that was good in some parts. Euforia made the técnicos look good, Misterioso was a total jerk at points, and everyone else was about normal. Finish seemed to be one of those rudo disqualifications to show what a mean guy the rudo is rather accomplishing anything. Camera switching was not great in the third fall.

La Máscara, La Sombra, Rush vs Rey Escorpión, Terrible, Volador Jr.: Good atmosphere and unpredictable action made for a fun match. There was probably not as much action as it felt like there was, because they made the actions felt more meaningful. It was strange how Rush went feeling Terrible wasn’t worth his time in the first fall to being crazily desperate to face him by the end of the match, because nothing really happened to cause that, but Rush is just a crazy man. The crowd buys into that feud, and a lot of the feuds worked over here.
