Flamita & Rocky Lobo vs Lucky Boy & Niño de Ébano and Eita & Lancelot: a bit more fleshed out than the XMW match, though I probably wouldn’t think of this match as more than a spot fest if I hadn’t seen that XMW one. It did feel like there was sort of increasing action here, and not simply moves to do moves. It felt like they were trying to win a wrestling match and not just show off spots they had learned. Flamita seems much better than other Arkangel trainees who are weekly regulars in Arena Mexico, it’s impossible to figure out how these things work. Crowd was actually pretty dead for more of this, but the previous match (XMW) might have burned them out.
Máscara Año 2000 Jr., Texano, Toscano vs Daga, Halloween, Hijo del Lizmark: probably the best Fusion main event, or at least the best Fusion main event I can think of. I would’ve been okay if it was a little shorter, but it wasn’t so long that I was wishing I had the time back something else. They told the Toscano breakup story well – it’s still not a story I want to see, but it was executed well – and the match itself was fun. No problem with this.
