Dark Angel is not letting go

Dark Angel, Goya Kong, Silueta vs Amapola, Princesa Sugheit, Zeuxis: a perfectly fine women\’s match, which actually makes it pretty good on the curve. Everything seemed to go exactly how they wanted (except Dark Angel\’s tope at the end), plenty of action and good finishes. Everyone had a good moment. Not a long match but didn\’t need to be. Nothing to complain about here.

how many times can you twist a (star)man\'s arm?

Fuego, Starman, Tritón vs Namajague, Shigeo Okumura, Virus: Another okay match. Fuego has faces Okumura and Namajague so many times that everything they do seems very repetitive, though the Japanese threw in some fresher stuff when they were working with other people. Starman was okay in a higher match than usual, and the finish actually played off of that so well – he may get in some armdrags but Virus is going to be Virus and submit people in the end. (No idea if that was actually the idea, but it felt like there was one and that\’s half the battle.)

This is full speed

Blue Panther, Guerrero Maya Jr., Valiente vs Black Warrior, Ephesto, Felino: a match built around arguing over disallowed tags and possible low blows; not a good use of anyone\’s time. There are signs there might be an actual good match with these people, but this was not that. I\’m not sure if this was the plan or if they were just screwing with Terror Chino but I\’m pretty sure I could\’ve passed on all of this.

Super Porky backdrop

Marco Corleone, Máximo, Super Porky vs Tama Tonga, Terrible, Último Guerrero: a comedy main event, focus on Máximo and Porky. Porky was trying to be agile; he wanted to be it more than his body would actually let him be. Not a lot to the match otherwise.
