Ultimo Guerrero out cheats Rey Escorpion

CMLL (FRI) 11/02/2012 Arena Mexico [CMLL]
1) Apocalipsis & Inquisidor b Leono & Soberano Jr.
2) La Comandante, Princesa Blanca, Princesa Sugheit b Dark Angel, Estrellita, Luna Mágica
Comandate replaced Lady Apache on Tuesday. Rudas took 2/3, Comandate pinning the returning from injury Estrellita.
3) Delta b Skándalo [lightning]
Delta replaced Starman and won with the “Delta Special” (moonsault) in 7:20. Isis was with Skandalo.
4) Ángel de Oro, Blue Panther, Titán DQ Averno, Mephisto, Pólvora
Tecnicos took 2/3, Averno pulling Titan’s mask in the third.
5) Tama Tonga, Terrible, Tiger b Atlantis, La Sombra, Rush
Rudos took 2/3.
6) Último Guerrero b Rey Escorpión
Ultimo surprised Escorpion with 3 straight dive to start the match, winning the first fall by COR. Rey Escorpion battled back to beat UG with his own Pulpo Guerrero. Dragon Rojo ran out for a distraction in the third fall, Escorpion tried to foul UG, UG evaded and fouled him instead, and got the pin.

Los Coliseinos says Starman was not hurt, for what it’s worth.

R de Rudo has brief results from DTU’s shows.

EstrellasTV, at least the one I get, does not list CMLL for Sunday afternoon. Another missing show!

Rob has highlights of 09/28/12 AAA in Naucalpan.

The Guardian has a very good piece about Bolivia’s Cholita.

A new Santo exhibit is open in Guanajuato.

Skayde and American Gigolo are running a new promotion in Michigan.

Lineup

IWRG (THU) 11/08/2012 Arena Naucalpan
1) Johnny Rivera vs Matrix Jr.

Either Angel has had some second thoughts about that whole “turning rudo to fight the Traumas” thing, or the main event will not go well for the tecnicos.

  1. An Ultimo Guerrero match that isn’t paint-by-numbers? I’m skeptical.

That Sunday card looks add the walls good. I’m guessing no chance that shows up in the webcast, right?

  2. Not only no chance it turns on the webfeed, we’ll be lucky if we get results.

    So far
turned up fine: CMLL 52MX, CMLL GDL
bizarrely replaced by a movie (at least Juarez): CMLL C3
couldn’t find a feed: CMLL on Fox

  3. Didn’t see this posted yet, but it looks like one of the Hijos de Rey Misterio will be appearing at Shane Douglas’ EXTREME RISING show in December…

Also I wasn’t sure if this was posted elsewhere, but a lucha documentary that is being made by Top Rope Productions and Viva La Lucha:

  4. Thanks for the links, Chris.

It seemed to odd to me that Rush isn’t on that Herdez show card when I posted it, but it just finally occurred to me that it’s because he’s probably going to be on the NJPW tour around that time (which hasn’t been announced yet, so this would count as news?) Diamante Azul is also not on that show, but I wouldn’t consider that as definite.
