AAA announced their next taping, in Puebla’s Gimnasio Miguel Hidalgo, has been pushed back a week to 11/09. No reason given and we don’t have a lineup for it yet. Essentially, that means they’re losing a taping week before Guerra de Titanes (2 weeks instead of 3) and they’ll again go nearly a month without taping anything. The Tlahuelilpan taping will now air over two weeks as a result. AAA is on pace for about 29 regular TV tapings (+/-1), down from 35 last year.
Today’s CMLL show is headlined versus Guerreros vs ex-Guerreros & a Tongan. Kcidis helpfully explains the whole thing. CMLL Gaceta runs with Ultimo Guerrero getting karmic punishment, his partners doing the same thing he did to Satanico last decade. Semimain is Mistico versus his old/new rivals, Hijos del Averno.
Wednesday in Xalapa, Ultimo Guerrero tossed his mask to Mistico to draw a DQ. That sets up a singles match between the two there on 12/05, which would be their first singles match.
El Hijo del Santo’s latest column is about the greatness of El Hijo del Santo. It’s his 30th anniversary, he turned in a list column (part 1) of 30 moments, I guess I can let him have this one.
