Fabi Apache & Lolita vs Jennifer Blake & Mari Apache: Good women’s match, mostly due to the Apaches. Lolita and Jennifer had a rough match together, but Mari & Fabi seemed really into treating the match like a big deal. They weren’t destroying each other like in some of hteir singles matches, but they – Mari especially – were very into interacting with the crowd.
Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown vs Argos, Texano Jr., Toscano: An okay match between the teams. They’ve had others that will be a little better and will have opportunities to do better. This just felt like another match, no problem with it but nothing to remember it by. Argos seems not in sync with the rest of his team at times.
Dr. Wagner Jr. vs Máscara Año 2000 Jr. in a super libre match: This was weirdly laid out; everyone time the rudos got the advantage, it was something Máscara Año 2000 Senior did, not his son. They did a fine job of building up Senior vs Wagner as a random apuesta match down the road, but Junior did not come off as a threat. The bigger idea is Junior can win with outside help, but usually these sort of bits are built up by convincing us Junior could win without the help and the help makes the odds incredible against Senior. This didn’t come across strong. Show overall pushed the idea of TripleMania being today and made sure you knew what the main feuds were, but I’m not so sure the matches did that.
