Bengala & Robin vs Ramstein & Zayco: The last Ramstein match for the time being, I guess. Bengala and Zayco had their moments. Robin is getting worse, which is problematic for a guy who’s probably going to be here forever. An opening match.
Hombre Bala Jr., Molotov, Super Halcon Jr. vs Bobby Zavala, Cancerbero, Disturbio: this also felt like an opener with the people involved. It was good enough for this spot. Finish was bit unusual, but then again, I’m not sure Cancerbero has a finish. Rudos were good. Zavala is sharp and getting over with the fans (who turn up.) As the president and sole member of the Hombre Bala fan club, I thought he looked good here.
Mr. Cacao, Rey Cometa, Stuka Jr. vs Arkángel de la Muerte, Hijo del Signo, Skándalo: The normal Tuareg match, even with only two Tuareg. Worked slow and worked around low blows. I don’t want to overrate what Cacao was last time here, but he was much less this time thru, moving slower than usual. Rudos didn’t seem to be as interested as last time either. Signo really needs to find a better crew to hang with.
Blue Panther, Hijo del Fantasma, Valiente vs Felino, Pólvora, Vangelis: better than I thought it’d be given these rudos. Definitely another experimental Panther match, with he being the only técnico in the ring in the opener and Fantasma being the only one in for most of the second. Trying to figure out what might work in these rules is nice, but he’s the only one doing it.
Dragón Rojo Jr., Mr. Niebla, Rey Escórpion vs Ángel de Oro, Máscara Dorada, Rush: standard match with these two sides until the random pointless DQ finish. Everyone did their usual bits, Dragon Rojo continues to stumble around, and Oro and Dorada look alike if you’re not paying attention but wrestle differently if you are.
