Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown vs Argos, Texano Jr., Toscano: Go to 13:04 of this, and explain to me how Argos ends up in the pile of bodies. (It’s really smooth editing is what it is.) I watched it about 10 times trying to figure it out. The rest of this match is a lot of fun. Maybe too much comedy for a supposedly serious group like Consejo, but that’s where they’re at now. They seem pretty strongly building the trios title rematch between these two teams – they even had Argos come out with the belt so the fans might think this was that – so I guess we have quite a few more of these until they actually get to the title match. This was a good sign for that. It’s also a sign that Argos & Semental mean a lot less than the other people in this group.
Cuervo & Ozz vs Brutus Magnus & Chessman: an iffy match; no real flow, just random shifts in control leading to a finish. A lot of audio manipulation; they turned up the ambient crowd noise so loud to make it seemed like people cared about this match that it very much distracted from the match. Magnus was fine but not all memorable. The only point to this match was to set up the Vampiro spot after it.
Extreme Tiger & Juventud Guerrera vs Daga & Halloween: Good match. The production was awful, with the announce track being completely not synced and key bits being missed on the video (and not somehow cleaned up after the fact), but there was an entertaining if not always clean match hidden underneath all of this
Cibernético, Electroshock, LA Park vs el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Héctor Garza, Psicosis: a Perros del Mal brawl with plastic furniture. Kind of all over the place, and then the least important people get pinned. Perro bleeding and getting destroyed by Cibernético was weird in the greater picture, and also strange in how quickly they wanted to get him to stop bleeding when he obviously did it on purpose (and has been doing in on purpose for a while.) He also disappeared the last few minutes here.
