- Adorable Rubi passed away.

Joaquin announced Electroshock and LA Park would be on his team. Also on the show, Mascara Ano 2000 Jr. beat Dr. Wagner Jr. again, with Wagner demanding a mask match, and Daga joined the Perros del Mal. Abyss missed his scheduled appearance and was replaced by TNA’s Brutus Magnus (who AAA mistakenly indicated was the ex-CMLL’s Magnus.) Teddy Hart appeared and won.
- Nuevo Mistico will debut on August 3rd. Dragon Lee will not wrestle again until then, but has been doing outside press trying to build hype for the debut. The name change skit has been repeatedly shown on CMLL’s many TV shows in the last two weeks.

Any reason no one has chimed in on the results of Infierno en el Ring? I figured that Goya Kong losing her mask was a big surprise for most of us here that visit this site. Just curious to what some of you guys thought.
I watched the match from a fan cam on YouTube, and felt the match between Princesa and Goya could’ve been better. There was too much time-killing in between spots. One thing I don’t like about mask matches now, is that the guy/girl who loses is never emotional after the loss. They don’t cry,or attack their opponent like in the past, which would enhance the post-match drama and intrigue.
@carlos: Goya losing now was a surprise, but Goya losing eventually was not, just because that’s what the Brazos do.
I think there was less interest here in a CMLL related event than the general public (a rarity!) because most of the people who read the site don’t care about (or for) most of the CMLL women in the match. Though, the people who visit my YouTbe pages are going to be absolutely crushed when I post that match.
