Fabi Apache, Lolita, Mascarita Dorada vs Mari Apache, Mini Psicosis, Sexy Star: Fabi vs Mari seems like a repeat, but it was good the first time and it looks good here too. Sexi Star & Lolita fit in well. Mini Psicosis has seemed to get worse in working with Dorada and not better as time has gone by; they pulled off the double rotation headscissors bit. It looked so much better with Demus.
Atomic Boy, Relampago, Súper Fly vs Ángel Mortal, Gallego, Tito Santana: The técnico squad looked like a C-Team Fuerza Aerea, complete with Atomic Boy’s new looking making him seem like a knock off Fenix. This was not a good variation of that match; Relampago and Super Fly did not look great (especially the lost sequence near the end.) Atomic Boy was fine, but not he special up and comer they seem to be going for here. Rudos didn’t impress but didn’t seem to stand out either.
Cuervo, Joe Lider, Ozz vs Dark Dragon, Octagón, Último Gladiador: Standard form: rudo beatdown, técnico comeback, técnico showcase, técnicos win, finish completely ignored for the post match finish. They probably should try to get over the Ozz Driver as a crippling move in a match where someone might remember it happen – the staple gun bit eclipsed it pretty easily. TV seemed early about showing the actual damage, but the announcers did a good job of getting it over anyway. Not sure the fans have gotten into it, but Octagon is oddly better as a rudo than a técnico. He’s been much more interesting in make the opposition look decent of late.
Drago, Fenix, Heavy Metal vs Máscara Año 2000 Jr., Texano Jr., Toscano: Consejo beat two midcarders and crazy Heavy Metal, and it only took three distracts from Hombre en Negro to do it. This is a group to be feared! This is with a usual match, with the técnicos limited a bit.
