SuperBoletos put TripleMania XX tickets on sale. Tickets run from 120 MX ($8.50) to 1560 MX ($111.55), including ticket handling charges. That’s a wide range of prices. The majority of the tickets are in the cheapest price range, and it’s a lot cheaper just one step down from ringside ($68.50). AAA will make good money on the people who have to sit close and fill up the arena with everyone else.
Perros del Mal have a new website, http://perrosdelmaloficial.com/ . It’s a nice looking site. No next Perros del Mal show is listed, and there’s no way to buy their merchandise without going to the store.
AULL announced Flamita has vacated their lightweight belt. No reason is given; the only thing that makes sense is he’s not working there any more, but it doesn’t have to make sense. AULL says they’ll have a new tournament soon.
LuchaWorld has Demus 3:16, Trauma II, Hijo del Santo, Rush and Dr. Cerbero on the top 100 countdown and KrisZ’s news update.
Rob has highlights of 09/09/11 CMLL.

Taurus, last seen nearly winning a Toryumon Mexico tag team tournament with Ultimo Guerrero, makes his CMLL debut here. There was a Taurus in Promo Azteca (who was a rudo), but this is not him. It does appear to be the one who’s was in Negro Navarro’s school (and on FILL shows vs the IWRG guys) in 2011, though it’s possible there are two and I’m confused. He does appear to be a Laguna based wrestler who may or may not be Ultimo Guerrero’s son; there’s been some soft denials, but the assumption is still that it’s the kid that was introduced on Ras de Lona a few years ago.
Main event doesn’t seem like a title change with whatever’s going on between Rey Escorpion & Ultimo Guerrero distracting the Guereros.
La Mascara defending his Mexican National Light Heavyweight against Mephisto has been added to next Sunday’s Arena Coliseo Guadalajara card. Mascara is all right, which sometimes gets lost in the shuffle of the comments like the ones I’m about to make. It’s just too bad Mascara’s not great, or Mascara’s last 12 months couldn’t have been spent on someone who’s a little bit greater. This title match will be the exact one year anniversary since Mascara beat Averno for his mask, Mascara’s had about a big singles match per month since there, and Mascara’s maybe slightly more over than he started. Maybe as over as Sombra and Mascara Dorada, but maybe not, and is no significant draw. (At least in Mexico City. GDL keeps putting him in title matches, maybe they know something we don’t.) Mascara has been alright and had some good matches, but he’s the ingredients for a Luchador Of The Year type run and he’s not considered that way. La Mascara is not a failure, but the promotional energy behind him sure seems like one.
