Lineup via AAA.

Mostly just a taping to fill TV, nothing really popping out as an important- of the three native guys who had the biggest roles on Rey de Reyes (LA Park, Perro, and Mesias), only the new champ in on the show. No Teddy Hart either. AAA seems to be teasing something with Nicho and his old Psicosis mask, so maybe more on that here?

Halloween did say he would work whatever scheduled dates, and perhaps he had many of them. Or they ran out of Perros. It feels like Consejo should be treated like a bigger deal than them, but they’re in a semimain rematch and three Perros who aren’t really doing anything are on top.

Daga may or may not actually be back in time for his match.

Sexy Lady or Ludark Shaitan making their TV debut makes sense as the mystery luchadora. Not sure how they do a lumberjack match as an opener.

Next taping is two days later in Pachuca.

  1. maybe the luchadora is la magnifica who won the talent show with dinastia and daga

  2. This will be an interesting 10 days. You’ve got 3 tapings in that time period and it’ll be clear who is and who isn’t on AAA’s radar if they don’t get booked on any of the shows. You would think the talent would be split up so everyone gets a show and whoever is left off will clearly not be on any future plans.

It’s hard to take El Consejo seriously as “invaders” when they are involved in 2 out of 5 matches and both are midcard matches. It’s the exact same as when CMLL had regular roster members like Villano V, Okumura, Vangelis, etc. teaming with the “Invasores” rendering that angle completely useless.

Hoping Ozz/Cuervo bring their ‘A’ game to that tercera to make this show more complete. The AJPW tag title match from Naucalpan was probably the worst match I’ve seen all year. (Eagerly awaiting the recap!)

Happy to see Semental getting lots of TV shows. I’m sure it helps that his partner is often Argos who needs all the help he can get and Semental is one of the few rudos in this promotion who can work a tag or trios match all by himself.
