The Gladiatores’ site, which is not up as I’m writing it but will hopefully be soon, has an interview with the new champs.

Polvora defeated Stuka last night in Puebla to keep the welterweight championship.

Murder Clown posted on his Facebook account that Psycho Clown & Halloween were attacked by a fan at a show in Campeche. Psycho was not hurt, but Halloween suffered a wound on his head.

Today’s Arena Mexico show has two singles match. In the main event, Psicosis and La Mascara square off in a non-title match, following Psicosis cheating to a few wins. The two are teasing a mask match in those interviews (though they say ‘for the anniversary show’, six months from now), with Psicosis saying he won’t fail like Averno. He’ll probably fail in a different way. As they note, this is a repeat from last year, where Mascara beat Psicosis before finding better things to do.

The other singles match is the end of the barely promoted Sangre Nueva tournament, with Raziel trying to keep Dragon Lee from breaking himself in many pieces (though that’s really the only way Raziel is going to win this match.) This tournament has weirdly gone unacknowledged outside of this show; whoever’s putting together Tuesday shows is clearly a fan of Dragon Lee but maybe not everyone else agrees.

  1. The clowns need to learn to add to the number of fans. One fan taking on two wrestlers and injuring one should clearly be changed to forty fans and barely a scratch

  2. The Clowns totally kayfabed properly: The *clown* was unharmed by the fan, but Halloween was busted wide open.

Bill Watts would still fine them both…

  3. @Nikita: Bill Watts wouldn’t be paying the wrestlers, the wrestlers would be paying Billy Watts based on facebook alone if he was running today.
