Mexico Air Date: live on PPV, and then maybe on TV at some point.
Card from AAA.
Opener is Dorada’s first match back.
Second match is Pimpinela’s first title defense. Feels like a title change, a sort of scenic route from getting the belt from Mari back to Sexi without actually having Mari lose directly to Sexi. Lumberjacks should be women and other exoticos, which means plenty of people to cost Pimpinela the match.
I think the rules in the third match is you must put someone thru a flaming table to win. Not totally sure.
Gunner! Also the Pope! To have a match with the Psycho Circus. This is definitely a match that is happening.
Either Silver King is going to be very busy or Octagon and Parka will have some Milicia friends to wrestle when they’re refusing to come in the ring.
Mesias has to beat AJ Styles to get a shot a title match at Jeff Jarrett (presumably at Rey de Reyes.)
Drago, Fenix and Jack in the semimain! Within a year, Fenix has gone from debuting to being in the second highest match. Crazy. Also awesome.
LA Park vs Dr. Wagner can be a match of the year candidate or a self indulgent brawl. Sometimes at the same time! Seconds are Octagon and Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.
This is a much more diverse show than prior major AAA shows. 1/6/7/8 could all be good, and there’s not just hardcore matches this time around. It’s very promising.

random factoid: Cibernetico has had some shakeup with AAA in November/December the last four years running.
2008: ‘quits’ AAA
2009: turns tecnico
2010: turns rudo
2011: turns tecnico
2007 he was burned.
I guess GdT will do 4,000-5,000 paid and that’s not bad at those ticket prices.
Poor Aerostar. I thought Drago was injured badly?
I thought AAA would bring back Hernandez but AJ’s doing a injury angle in TNA so I guess him coming in makes sense. He should have a good match.
I really like how this card stacks up on paper. Dorada’s first match, Styles/Mesias could be good, an awesome looking semimain, and a main that is sure to deliver. I’m looking forward to seeing this one a lot.
Looks like an excellent show on paper. Really has the feel of a huge show to end the year.
The only noticeable MIA is Aero Star but that’s been a trend on AAA major shows this year. You can’t really see where he’d fit in anyhow unless Drago stayed out injured.
I’m still thinking Park’s kid gets involved in the main event somehow.
I know you all have an irrational hatred of Lider/XXXL-Fly but I’m looking forward to it. They’ll take some big bumps and we’ll get a spectacular finish where Lider goes through stacked flaming tables. Everyone wins!
The opener and semi-main look out of this world amazing! Very excited to see both. Drago, Fenix, Jack = dream team!
I have no use for the lumberjack match or the clowns vs Psycho Circus match. Gonna be a long night for Chessman!
CMLL fans would never admit to this but deep down it has to bother them that AAA’s major shows are actually major while CMLL has yet to figure out the concept of a major event.
Forgot to put it in the post, but seconds for the main event are listed as Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Octagon. Though surely others will be involved.
@Tim: He was – his arm was pointing the wrong way! And he’s still wrestling anyway.
I know E.T. wants to pay back Nicho for that fireball
good card.looking forward to see it
the semi main could be a moty candidate but it would have been better with dark dragon instead of halloween with halloween teaming in the second match with nicho
@keith133: Hey man if you try take a booking away from XXXL-Fly he’ll eat you!
Yet another show where Jarrett doesn’t defend the title? If he keeps it until Rey de Reyes (which is looking most likely) that will make him the longest reigning champion in AAA history.
That’s pretty lame
@Logman: And he has been getting a ton of mic/camera time in recent weeks, all building up to—him not being there.
Yeah that part sucks. They gotta get that belt off that guy but who would get it? So redundant to put it back on Wagner or Mesias. Park taking it as a tecnico would be cool but that appears to be far off. If Garza is indeed allowed in the U.S. again I think it’d be awesome for him to win the belt back on a TNA show. The Mexican media would mark out for that at least.
It’ll be interesting to see how this AAA/TNA progresses in 2012. Will the AAA guys ever get to work in the U.S.?
They should put it on Texano. But Garza being both the CMLL and AAA heavyweight champion would be awesome.
This looks like a good card for what has been an excellent year for AAA. Infact this is actually the 2011 Calabcd44 appreciation show ( my birthday is the day before) :) Anyways moving on, the Main could be when LA Park turns tecnico. The 1st, 3rd, 6th, 7th, & 8th matches could be awesome, 5th match could be entertaining aswell depends if Silver King has Trolly with him.
