Evil ninja keeps title over good ninja, AAA’s new web magazine

LyC (SUN) 11/27/2011 Arena Coliseo Monterrey [LyC Facebook (2), LyC Facebook (3), LyC Facebook (4), LyC Facebook (5)]
2) Core b Demencia
Core has 3 straight, 2 over Demencia
3) Genocida b Big Neurosis [LyC HEAVY]
Genocida won the title.
4) Dralion, Gato Fantasma, Silencio b Gemelo Muerte I, Gemelo Muerte II, Misionero [LyC TRIOS]
Dralion’s team (Los Reyes del Aire) won the trios titles.
5) Hijo del Ninja b Ninja Jr., Simbolo, Rico Rodriguez [LyC CHAMP]
Hijo del Ninja kept his title, forming new faction “Nueva Potencia Ruda” with Simbolo and Rico Rodriguez. Rudo referee too.

Hijo del Ninja should’ve just named the group CUPRA.

Virus kept the CMLL Super Lightweight Title in Puebla last night. Twitter reports were down on Dragon Lee’s performance. Policeman might have been bleeding in the opener judging from other photos I saw.

Tonight’s Arena Mexico show has the advertised return of Rey Cometa (unless CMLL is up to something.) Main event was scheduled to be Rush, Angel de Oro & La Mascara vs TRT – that’s what they actually announced on TV – but Mephisto will replace Texano. CMLL’s currently on a streak of someone quitting every other Tuesday, but we’re on an even Tuesday so you may have to wait seven days for the next one.

AAA has put up the first issue of Rudos vs Tecnicos, a web magazine, for free on their website. It’s done by the same editor as Dos de Tres, and it’s very well done. They’ve integrated photo galleries, audio, and video nicely in the articles. It’s impressive. The magazine includes a Sexi Star interview (and photos), plus conversations with the Psycho Circus & El Dandy.

CMLL found out it’s women’s title changed hands! Good for them. In a better world, Ayumi keeps the title forever, the Heavyweight title is never mentioned again, and CMLL keeps weening itself down on titles.

The Dantes Factory Shows, started by Apolo after he was booted from Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, are going to continue on with his brother Cesar running the show now that Apolo’s back in charge. Interestingly, the next show has Gallo & Black Metal from ACG in the main event.

5) Cibernético & Neurosis vs Konnan Big & Simbolo

Estrellita, Intocable and Cibernetico on the same show means someone’s getting in trouble. La Parka & Octagon turned rudo to try and get out of the second match in AAA. Cibernetico really needed to turn tecnico, except it doesn’t nearly mean as much when you’ve been both. I’m sure Cibernetico is unhappy, probably unhappy enough to take outside bookings.
