recap
Minis trios and women cibernetico nicely spiced up the shows.
Bengala & Trueno vs Camorra & Zayco: a repeat that’s technically not a repeat. Makes it makes this a sequel or a remake; like those usually go, the first one was better.
Astral, Bam Bam, Eléctrico vs Demus 3:16, Pequeño Warrior, Pierrothito: good match. Eléctrico has grown to be really spectacular. He still doesn’t connect to the fans the way he needs to – now would’ve been the better time to do the mask match they did last year, it might help – but if he gets that, they may have something. Rudos didn’t get as much as I’d want but this was worked for the time they got.
Dalis la Caribeña vs Lady Apache, Goya Kong, Silueta, Princesa Sugheit, Kiara, La Seductora, Princesa Blanca [CMLL-REINA JUNIOR, #1]: It’s amazing how over Goya is. If her family name didn’t already guarantee her a job for life, her ability to get a crowd reaction would have on the while. The finishes were rushed here even by the standards of CMLL ciberneticos, and it did not seem such a great match prior to them. I’m convinced Silueta has improved and she and Blanca did a great job on the finish, but uncertain if she’s actually good. We’ll find out next week.
Metro, Sagrado, Stuka Jr. vs Euforia, Vangelis, Virus: short match for a midcard match, and most forgettable except for Euforia’s injury (which seems to happen on Metro’s German suplex a bunch.) Stuka & Virus mat work to start was good, but there’s better matches recently to see that.
Héctor Garza, La Máscara, La Sombra vs Rey Bucanero, Terrible, Texano: usual match with these guys, and a really quick feeling third fall.
