1) Alan Extreme & Keshin Black b Astro de Plata Jr. & Astro Rey Jr.
Alan Extreme grabbed the ropes to get the win.
2) Dinamic Black, Eterno, Golden Magic b Carta Brava Jr., King Drako, Polifacético
Golden Magic was finally able to win this trios match. All the tecnicos beat all the rudos, including an Eterno Super Styles Clash on Polifacetico.
3) El Hijo del Medico Asesino, Hijo de LA Park, Hijo de Pirata Morgan b Mascara Sagrada Jr., Trauma I, Ultramán Jr.
Mascara Sagrada Jr.’s debut. Rudos took 1/3, Pirata Morgan pinning Trauma I.
4) Cien Caras Jr., Hijo de Máscara Año 2000, Máscara Año 2000 Jr. b Bestia 666, Damián 666, X-Fly
bloody match. Capos jumped the Perros before the match and won the first fall. X-Fly went to the locker room and returned with chairs and light tubes, which turned the table. Cien Caras Jr. took the third with a cristo negro on Damian.
5) Canek, Electroshock, Villano IV b El Hijo del Solitario, Pirata Morgan, Universo 2000
Villano IV replaced his brother. Pirata’s team took the first, Canek won the second. Universo 2000 accidentally hit Pirata Morgan in the third fall. At around the same time, Villano IV and Solitario took each other’s mask in second and ended up wearing the opposite. Universo attacked the guy wearing the Villano IV mask, which of course was his partner, and Pirata & Solitario turned on Universo. Team Canek took advantage for the win. Pirata Morgan proposed an alliance to Canek to take out Universo, which led the Junior Capos to come out and attack both of them.
No full results, but Cinco Radio reports Hijos del Averno kept the CMLL Trios Titles in Puebla, over Rush, Maximo and Toscano. Rudos took falls 2/3, Mephisto beating Maximo for the deciding pin.

Pulso has a good article about the realities behind running an indy show, in San Luis Potosi. They don’t expose the in ring product, but talk about the finances and the luchadors real life jobs (a lot of “private security guards”.) It’s worth checking out.
Averno talked to Vanguradia about life after losing his mask. He says (as he’s said elsewhere) that he did talk to WWE but they agreed upon nothing concrete, but would be open to wrestling internationally. Averno feels the problem with lucha libre is there are too many challenges for big matches and not enough of the big matches actually happen. (Averno is a smart man.)
LuchaPOP announced Daga is Joe Lider’s opponent (or one of them) in the main event of their show this week, and added Fenix vs Dark Dragon to the show.
Dr. Wagner, hyping a Friday night show in Tijuana, says after he get does with LA Park, his career will be over and he’ll be reduced to selling masks outside the building.
Rob has video highlights of 09/17/10 CMLL with Volador vs Mistico.

Keeping the one defense a year streak alive! I would have zero problems with the Tuareg team winning if it meant frequent defenses; there are a lot of natural tecnicos teams (Cometa/Pegasso if they , Metal/Blanco, Plata/Azteca, Gen11, Starman/Metalico!) that’d be fun contenders and it’d least be on a team that’s actually a team most of the time. Despite being pretty much on the same level once again (Stuka was ahead of Fuego for a while), those two don’t seem to be on the same trios a lot. Either way, I still think this belt should be defended at least four times a year and it probably won’t be.
