AAA & CMLL trios belts on the line (not in the same match), AAA HD

I was hoping IWRG results would turn up. They have not!

AAA tapes tonight in Leon, their last taping before Heroes Inmortales this Sunday. There shouldn’t be any major surprises, since the card is already announced, but the one meaningful match is Psycho Circus vs Perros del Mal for the AAA Trios Titles. Assuming the Perros are going to lose the domed cage match (which is what most people seem to be assuming) and aren’t leaving the promotion, they’re either keeping these titles or Perro is winning Wagner’s title to keep the group relevant. Keeping the trios title seems  more likely.

Also, someone’s head gets bashed with a guitar.

CMLL has it’s own trios titles on the line tonight in Puebla. Maximo, Toscano and Rush are an unlikely trio, one that seems unlikely to win as a team. CMLL does like their trios champions to be random assortment of lucahdors, but this seems pushing it and it’d be a surprise to see a title change this quick after Hijos del Averno won the trios belts. This is more interesting to look in reverse; if the title belts do somehow change hands, then we can start trying to guess at when Averno is finishing up.

AAA aired in HD frame ratio this past week (which probably means they’re taping in HD now.) If that’s was the only issue with Galavision, perhaps they may turn back up in the US. It’s possible not the only issue.

Mike Segura lost his hair to Silenciso in Monterrey on Sunday.

Rob has highlights of the CMLL C3 taping from 07/19/11.

First of back to back Fridays with shows here. That would seem to mean they’re setting up a main event for the next week here. Every match (but the opener) has a current champion involved and there’s plenty of non-title possibilities, so no luck narrowing it down.

Kasandra is a 2nd new luchadora here, though if they’re both rudas, they’re still stuck waiting until the DF women come in to actually have matches.
