First defense for the Perros. Perros took falls 2/3, Damian 666 beating Black Terry just as Freyser submitted Bestia 666. Terry was the captain, so his team lost. Cage match challenges followed.
Other News
Volador Jr. beat previous champion Sombra (and La Mascara) to win the Azteca Championship, the title used in Gimnasio Nuevo Leon for the CMLL spots shows in the building (once every three or four months.) No one’s managed to win the title and keep it more than one show.
Mascara Dorada beat Mephisto to keep the CMLL Welterweight championship.
IWL announced Tony Rivera vs Zumbido will take place on October 22nd. I hope no one blockades the arena to prevent the show from happening.

It did not end well for the UWA (the AAA-centric coverage of the WON points the finger at Canek causing all sorts of problems), but anything old enough gets brought back in lucha libre and so here’s an AAA/UWA show. Gran Apache II!

This is me on my knees begging Black Terry Jr. to tape and upload that Dinastia Navarro v. Terry/Cerebro match. One of my favorite feuds a couple of years ago, and the Traumas have just gotten better.
Man that LEGEND show has some fun looking matchups especially Aerosstar,Laredo,Argos vs El Engendro, Scorpio Jr., Shu el Guerrero and throw in Skayde with Danny Boy and two Gran Apaches!!
That Legends show looks great! Finally someone smart enough to book a show like that and mix in the young guys for a change! I’ve been begging for that to happen and hopefully this isn’t a one-time only deal. Makes the matches more fresh and gives the young guys a chance to learn. Hopefully lots of people with camera phones attend.:)
I was surprised to see Cesar back writing stuff. I thought he would disappear and come back after ignoring the Anniversary Show but I guess the new plan is to just ignore the show but keep blogging. I don’t understand his idea to build around the women. Women have never drawn on their own in Mexico and out of all the promotions that have ever existed they’ve always meant the least in CMLL. So much so that they all disappeared for many years before Dark Angel came along to revive it. It’s a fine mid-card act if you can get rid of half the women who don’t even belong in the ring (Luna Magica, Estrella Magica, Seductora, Tiffany). But it’ll never be anything more than that and if CMLL is going to put effort into something there are TONS OF THINGS they should work on before the women’s division.
By the way – I’ve been too lazy to write more in my blog but the Mini Psycho Circus are a great act. They’ve got the charachters down perfect (Mini Psycho jumps around just like the big Psycho) and their ring work is excellent. I’ve given up trying to figure out who each guy is and am just enjoying their matches.

@Alfredo: I would have but it’s so frustrating at times to put my thoughts together in Spanish that sometimes I just give up. I wish Cesar would learn English.
