10) Tony Rivera & Zumbido b Daga & Suicida [Relevos Increíbles]
10:48
11) Super Crazy b Juventud Guerrera [special ref Dr. X-Treme]
Dr. X-Treme kept trying to stop this from being an X-treme match, but Juvi and Crazy did not care. In the end, X-Treme fouled Juvi and Crazy got the win in 14:08
IWL is posting names and times on their website, making them my favorite promotion for at least the remainder of this post. Working theory was some of this show’s matches would end up on the iPPV in place of the AAA shows, but if they’re just going to randomly turn 5 announced matches in a 11 match card here, maybe they’ll do the same in two weeks and have plenty of material.
CMLL (SUN) 09/04/2011 Arena Coliseo [CMLL, Kaiser Sports, La Catedral]
1) Rayo Tapatío I & Rayo Tapatío II b Bengala & Enrique Vera Jr.
1/3 for the rudos.
2) Demus 3:16, Mascarita Dorada, Shockercito DQ Astral, Pequeño Violencia, Pequeño Warrior [Relevos Increíbles]
Straight falls for team Dorada. Demus did the Warrior dance to Warrior, and Warrior fouled him for the DQ (also, payback for last week.)
3) Lady Apache b Amapola, Dark Angel, La Seductora, Marcela, Dalis la Caribeña, Goya Kong, Lluvia, Princesa Blanca, Silueta [PWR WOMEN, #1 Contenders]
A battle royal decided teams: Apache/Angel/Seductora/Amapola/Dalys vs Lluvia/Blanca/Goya/Marcela/Silueta. Elimination went Seductora (by Silueta), Lluvia (by Dalys), Siuleta (Amapola), Dalys (Goya), Goya (Amapola & Dark Angel), Amapola (Marcela!), Dark Angel/Marcela together on a tapatia, and Blanca lost to Lady Apache. Apache is getting a rematch of the title she lost. Rosita was again spotted with Dark Angel.
4) El Alebrije, Mr. Águila, Volador Jr. b Black Warrior, Sensei, Toscano
Mr. Aguila was in for Olimpico, Sensei replaced Hijo del Fantasma. Rudos took 2/3. Alebrije and Cuije had some issues with their teammates in the first fall, but were integral to the win.
5) Hiroshi Tanahashi, Mr. Niebla, Texano b Hijo del Fantasma, La Sombra, Máximo
Hijo del Fantasma moved up a match to replace Shocker. Rudos took 1/3, Niebla beating Maximo with his own kiss cradle.
In a post match interview, Lady Apache explained that the Sugeith/Apache title match would be held in California, and the winner would immediately go to Denver to defend the title. It would be stunning if Lady Apache didn’t just win the title back.
The Rosita situation is a bit odd, because the same time she’s hanging out Dark Angel, AAA is promoting her as appearing in their promotion (including a vignette on this week’s TV.) She doesn’t likely have a choice of which promotion she’s working for in Mexico as long as she’s working in TNA.
Other News
Dr. X-Treme told multiple Saturday that he had no work with CMLL and would not be appearing on Tuesday’s show. SuperLuchas guessed that maybe this means CMLL could make a new Dr. X. I love this idea, but not because it’s a good idea. A second Mistico (or a second Sin Cara!) is a bad idea that says people are more concerned about preserving trademarks than putting out the best show. From a business standpoint, it makes a tiny bit of sense, but it’s very cynical to anyone who actually follows the show, and that’s depressing. A second Dr. X pretending to be first (and picking up the Fuego feud!) is an absurd ludicrous concept, which would indicate people in charge are totally insane, and insanity can be fun.
Mr. Niebla told Universal that he feels CMLL could do more with him, but he’s not concerned and will do whatever they want. Niebla is planning a 20th Anniversary show on 09/24 at Deportivo José María Morelos y Pavón, but is still working on the lineup.
Mil Mascaras, Dos Caras and Psicodelico signed a lot of autographs on Saturday, though the person introducing Mil at the panel discussion accidentally gave away his real name.
Rob has clips of 08/23/11 CMLL and lots from 2003 CMLL: Late April/Early May, Late May, Late June, Early July, Late July, the big 08/01 show, and late August. Also, two rarely seen Juvi vs Rey matches from Feb 96 and April 96.

I’d like to know where The Destroyer (Dick Beyer) stands in all this Dr. X talk!
Tanahashi winning and then putting over Sombre would be huge… kinda don’t see that happening, but it would be a great way to use him… and NJPW could get a nice throwaway main event on a show with that.
What if ..
a rudo like UG were to Low-blow Tanahashi, to earn a dq, followed by a beatdown. that is followed by Tanahashi showing “fighting spirit” and coming out for the next round, only to lose… and thus set up a rematch in NJPW.
“She doesn’t likely have a choice of which promotion she’s working for in Mexico as long as she’s working in TNA.”
Rosita has not worked with CMLL in any way; she’s just hanging out with her partner and watching her matches as a fan, but nothing else.
According to some fans, Sexy Star keeps attending CMLL events as a fan. She was spotted a past Tuesday accompanied by an angry man, probably a boyfriend, who gets pissed off if people stares at her.
I think that as long as they don’t wrestle in CMLL or negotiate there, they can go as fans wherever they want.
Most like Hérnandez, Rosita will be an evil foreigner who hates Mexicans while in México, but a Mexican who promotes negative stereotypes while in the crappy TNA.
