recap

A mostly boring show.

moves!

Ángel Azteca Jr., Ángel de Plata, Hombre Bala Jr. vs Bobby Zavala, Puma King, Tiger: Cats are always fun, Angels were solid, but I’m starting to get concerned the Gen11 kids are actually getting worse. Zavala in particular seemed more exposed here, but maybe I just haven’t seen enough of him.

Pegasso, Rey Cometa, Starman vs Euforia, Raziel, Virus: Expected a tiny bit more from this lineup, but there wasn’t a lot time (and they might have gone home early due to Starman’s pratfall.) Pegasso does not wrestle like a man with a bad knee, so either he can manage the pain very well, or I’m bad at spotting people with injuries. Probably the latter.

Starman fail

Fuego vs Dr. X in a lightning match: Impossible to tell how good this was with half of it missing. Arkangel being added to this points to a multiman man match, but maybe now it’ll be Arkangel taking over the feud instead? If they don’t just drop it entirely (which it seems like has happened)

Blue Panther, Sangre Azteca, Valiente vs Misterioso Jr., Pólvora, Shigeo Okumura: short version of their very typical match. Even if you have to watch every CMLL match, you don’t actually have to watch this one, because you’ve actually seen it already.

legdrop(s)

Ángel de Oro, La Sombra, Máscara Dorada vs El Alebrije, Mr. Águila, Psicosis: I think Cuije has more varied offense than Sangre Azteca at this point. Anyway, pretty fun main event. Invasors still can be pretty entertaining; their win-loss record does not reflect their effort. Angel de Oro fit in much better here than the last main event.
