Fine show of okay to good matches.
Enrique Vera Jr. & Höruz vs Bronco & Inquisidor: Vera continues to look not ready for this level, but everyone else looked fine, and Höruz had a pretty good day. Bronco was killing people and then putting them in weird holds, nothing wrong with that.
Palacio Negro vs Cancerbero in a lightning match: Exactly what you’d expect. Palacio Negro tries crazy things, some of them don’t work, some of them work spectacularly, and then he does the Undertaker pin for no particular reason. Cancerbero was really good in his role and his tope was fun.
Hijo del Fantasma, La Máscara, Rush vs Averno, Rey Bucanero, Terrible: fine setup match for the title match next week. Mascara gets his first pin on Averno in a quite a few weeks, which is good enough to set up the main event. Funny how CMLL takes the over the top press slam disqualification far more seriously than they do the piledriver one.
Atlantis, Héctor Garza, Último Guerrero vs Mr. Niebla, Naito, Negro Casas: first two falls were about nothing, and the third was okay but nothing really special. They subtly moved towards Garza/UG, but in such a fashion that it’s hard to decipher unless you know to look for it. Just seemed more like CMLL randomness. Naito was amusing, hope he comes back again. Odd how the Atlantis/Negor dynamic was flipped here; no idea if that was on purpose.
