Matches finished/in progress
1) Aerostar, Argos, Fenix, Sugi b Dark Dragon, Decnnis, Tigre Cota, Tito Santana
Dark Match
Konnan and Joaquin agreed that anyone who ran in tonight would be suspended. This was mentioned back on the Neza taping, but brought up again here.
2) Angelina Love, Mickie James, Sexy Star, Velvet Sky b Cinthia Moreno, Fabi Apache, Lolita, Mari Apache
Mickie DDTed Fabi for the win.
Octagon was inducted into the AAA HOF.
3) Electroshock, Heavy Metal, Joe Lider [TLC] b Chessman, Silver Kain, Último Gladiador
Electroshock in for Nicho. With many people bleeding, Metal was wiped out injured. Nicho ran in to take his place – but was then stopped and suspended by Joaquin Roldan. No run ins! Tecnicos still end up winning by pinfall – nothing to grab in this table match.
4) Billy el Malo, Charly Manson, Cibernético, Escoria b Drago, La Parka, Octagón, Ozz
Taboo turned up in the late stages of the match, holding La Parka’s kid – the one with the broken leg that started all of this – hostage. Parka was distracted and chokeslammed by Cibernetico for the pin. Taboo let the kid go (he went to his dad), and it was revealed Taboo is actually Parka’s brother. (He legit is.) Probably responsible for passing on the x-rays to Cibernetico way back when.
Konnan and Jarrett talked backstage, to kill some time while the cage was set up. Mr. Anderson talked.
5) Extreme Tiger & Jack Evans b Abyss & Mr. Anderson [AAA TAG, cage]
Extreme Tiger did a cage dive on Abyss, then escaped. Anderson was next out. Jack powerbombed Abyss off the cage into thumbtacks to retain the tag titles.
6) Damián 666, X-Fly, Halloween b Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown [AAA TRIOS, final]
X-Fly in for Perro, as previously announced. Damian was powerbombed into something that exploded, but the Perros still managed to win. Halloween gives Psycho a suepr Death Valley Driver thru a table for the pin.
7) Jeff Jarrett b Zorro[AAA HEAVY]
Jeff used or tried to use tortillas, powder, a guitar, and his wife to help him win, but eventually got the cane and used that on Zorro for the win. Zorro looked out of shape and we probably won’t be seeing him again for a while.
8) LA Park vs El Mesías [hair, mask]
Change of order! Pierroth (still wheelchair bound, but in his mask) appears to enter with LA Park. Hijo de LA Park is LA Park’s second.
Long match, taking us past midnight. After multiple tables were broken, many chair shots, blood, and Park’s mask ripped, Mesias accidentally kicks Piero, and Park uses brass knucks for the win. Mesias was quickly shaved in the ring.
Marisela Pena threw a drink at LA Park at one point, and Park taunted her after the match.
9) Dr. Wagner Jr. b Rob Van Dam [AAA LA]
Dr. Wagner had a traditional Mexican musical performance and is wearing the flag colors. Rob Van Dam’s name was spelled wrong. Dr. Wagner III is with his father.
These two got plenty of time. RVD survived the Wagner Driver, but felt to a hanging DDT. Wagner got the new belt and celebrated with the AAA tecnicos.
Four hour show. Looooong show.
Other results
Results from Corona afternoon show, where they’re trying to find new wrestlers. This has barely anything to do with TripleMania, but I might forget later.
AAA CORONA (SAT) 06/18/2011 Palacio de los Deportes [AAA (facebook)]
1) Drastik Boy & Pequeno Espiritu b Kaleth & Pequeno Cobra
listed as Fabi Apache’s group; losing team are DTU trainees, Drastic Boy is Hidalgo by way of IWRG. Espiritu may be with the Martha Villalobos group.
2) Ashely & Sexy Angel b Dashuri & Keira
3) Black Mamba, Silver Tiger, Tiger Lee b Barbaro I, Barbaro II, Pitbull Devastador
4) Black Fire & Silver Star b Blazer & Violento Jack
5) Daga & Freelance b Eterno & Mike Segura
No other group is really mentioned. Maybe this will make more sense later. Silver King is said to have named Drastik Boy, Keira, Silencio, Silver Tiger, Blazer, Daga and Freelance as people advancing to the next round. Violento Jack also won, but he’s sort of already in AAA. I’m not sure how this is supposed to work, since we somehow ended up with 6 men, 1 women and evidently no minis unless Freelance counts. I just like the idea that Freelance, in 2011, counts as new undiscovered talent. Keira is with DTU. Silencio sounds like the Monterrey one, but I wonder if it’s actually supposed to be Silencioso, who’s from Arena Aficion. Blazer is also from Arena Aficion. Not sure about the Silver Tiger, but I think he’s Nuevo Laredo.
Maybe it’ll make more sense later.
Edit: RJ confirms it was Silencio from MTY.

Any chance this will be on a torrent site on Sunday?
Glad I could make one of the chats this time, all but, very briefly! Thanks Cubs and Gang.
Any word on the attendance?
TNA is acknowledging Jarret’s victory at Triplemanía on their website. This might mean something or maybe it’s just a random new like when Hernández attacked the Smashing Pumpkins.
http://www.impactwrestling.com/news/item/2767-Jeff-Jarrett-wins-Mexico-s-Heavyweight-Championship-at-TripleMania
I suspect Jarrett will drop the strap to Hernandez in the near future…he’ll make another AAA run at that point.
Man, I’m just glad LA Park won. He forgot to throw Mesias in a volcano afterwords though.
I also type like a moron that doesn’t know the difference between afterwards and afterwords, sorry gents
Strange that the Monterrey Silencio advanced without having a match.
@ringo: Some of the other names in the live results on AAA’s facebook weren’t quite right, so I wonder if “Silver Star” is meant to be him.
LA PARK v. Mesias is up on youtube, and it is what we thought it was going to be. Reminded me of those great mid 2000’s Necro Butcher matches, insane bloody mayhem, with both guys taking enormous insane bumps.
