expected winners win, and face Team Red/Blue (Team Purple?) next week.
10) Blue Panther, Rush, Super Porky DQ Terrible, Texano, Último Guerrero
Straight fall win for the tecnicos, Texano desperately fouling Porky in the second. Terrible & Texano continued to beat up Porky until Maximo made the save. Father and son made a hair match challenge. Texano and Terrible accepted!
My assumption/slightly educated guess is that match will happen at Dos Leyendas, but it will not be the main event – there had always been a plan of two main event level matches for that show and that match would work. If this is the sole main event, there’s a problem.
CMLL’s clearly been anxious to do a Super Porky hair mask, first teasing one with Volador (which would’ve been bad for everyone) and then doing this one. It’s surprising Maximo’s involved after the week that was – Cesar argues they shouldn’t trust him in this spot, but I’m not that concerned. Maximo is getting what he wants out of this match, and perhaps that’s a reason he’s not going anywhere. Seems like Rush got moved out of this spot for Maximo, but I suppose Tuesday’s title match is his consolation prize.
Rey Misterio Sr. is promoting a new Hijo del Rey Misterio, which begs many questions. DJ Spectro says the original Hijo del Rey Misteriso was said to be not ambitious enough, but is either one actually his son? It’s not very clear.
Both AAA and Lucha Libre USA tape tonight. AAA has a mystery figure in the main event, LLUSA has a mystery air date. Dorian’s Twitter mentions Perro Aguayo Jr. will be at the AAA show – he’s not in a match right now unless he’s the mystery guy.
Ras de Lona taped their show this week from CMLL’s press conference set. Sneaky hilarity, I like it. Mostly the feuds you’d expect and the teams for last night’s block. Mephisto & Fantasma argued in their interview, with Mephisto even saying he’d rather beat up Fantasma than win the tournament. There was a brief Magnus interview – the red in his gear comes out stronger on TV, but the big headscissors they showed as highlights looked a lot like a new guy still working on his speed. They didn’t show his dive, oddly. Rush did a good promo for his title match. They were clearly setting up Texano (& Terrible) vs Rush/Porky here. Texano was pretty emphatic when he said Rush was no star, Texano was a real star.

Lineups
CMLL (FRI) 02/25/2011 Arena Mexico
1) Bengala & Robin vs Semental & Zayco
2) Fuego, Guerrero Maya Jr., Magnus vs Dr. X, Loco Max, Tiger Kid

Atlantis & Dorada winning back to back years would be odd but not unprecedentedly odd for CMLL. Dorada is on a hot streak, too.
Rush faces the current light heavyweight champion on Tuesday, and the previous light heavyweight champion on Friday.
More Sangre Azteca vs two of his rivals.
Magnus is back, and now everyone’s ready for him. That’ll be interesting.
