Mistico defeats Casas, Perros, Santo, Lucha Libre USA, DTU

La Parka really needs to learn how to share.

CMLL (MON) 01/10 Arena Puebla [Cinco Radio]
4) Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto b Blue Panther, Máscara Dorada, Máximo
5) Místico b Negro Casas

Negro with for La Mistica, Mistico got free and beat Negro with a casita.

The article quotes Averno saying he and Mephisto are the best team, and they and the Guerreros are the most important groups in CMLL.

Perros del Mal announced upcoming shows
01/15 Ecatepec
01/27 Toluca
02/01 Pachuca
02/05 Tlanepantla
TBD Tijuana, Cancun, Cozumel, Merida

Ecatepec is an AAA taping – maybe Toluca is too? They usually tape there, though not in Pachuca (Arena Aficion) and Tlanepantla (Arena Lopez Mateos. Perros have also switched their official twitter to @PDMOficial wonder what happened with their old one.

El Hijo del Santo explains he listed “la de a caballo” as a dancing move because he had to pick a genre, not because he considers it a dance. Santo says AAA’s meme about it was because he’s suing them, and didn’t make much sense since they have so many people who actually do dance. Santo says AAA has little morals, for things like how they ripped LA Park on TV and then treated him as a big star when he came back. Santo says he has a big surprise on Feburary 5th, the 27th anniversary of his father’s death. The surprise is “a gift for him.”

Lucha Libre USA action figures are now in Walmart, including Marco Corleone. Their next taping is 01/22.

CMLL’s HD broadcasts are supposed to start Saturday with the main show on Televisa. They’ll also be starting on Fox Sports next weekend. 52MX’s show will also go HD, though the article doesn’t make it clear when that’s happening. Does anyone get the HD versions of these channels?

Surropa.com held a contest last night to promote “the upcoming launch of our officially licensed CMLL t-shirt collection.” First I’ve heard of this, hoping these are cool shirts.

Al Filo del Ring has the video of IWRG’s main event from Sunday.

Hector Garza & Mascara Sagrada are part of Lucha Va Voom’s Valentine’s Day shows (02/09 & 02/10).

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.

Lineup

indy (TUE) 01/11 Arena Aficion [Hidalgo Sport]
1) Aracnido & Nino Tormenta vs Caribe King & Kyozer
2) Sexy Lady vs Ludark
3) Maldito Jr. & Samot vs Big Boy & Super Brazo
4) Fray Tormenta, Super Crazy, X-Fly vs Bestia 666, Boy Danger, Bugambilia [mask, hair]

Fray Tormenta! 65 Years Old! Teaming with Super Crazy & X-Fly! Putting his mask on the line! I think this will be different than, say, the Psycho Circus vs Perros del Mal cage match. Whoever takes the pinfall in the third fall loses their hair or mask.

Guys in the opener are Tormenta trainees, and I’d bet Boy Danger is one too.

DTU (SAT) 01/29 Arena Lopez Mateos
1) Dement Xtreme & Lily Monster vs Muerte Bucanera & Oyuki Star
2) Crazy Boy & Lolita vs Keira & Tribal and Daga & Lily Fighter
3) Hormiga & Vaquerita vs Sexy Star & Zumbi and Angelica & Cinthia Moreno
4) Drastic Boy, Máscara Oriental, Vanely vs Ashley, Cyrus, Flamita and Ciclope, Eterno, Megan
5) Fabi Apache & Mari Apache vs Trauma I & Trauma II
6) Aeroboy & Chica Tormenta vs Cerebro Negro & Shitara
7) Paranoiko vs Violento Jack
8) Joe Lider vs Super Mega, Rey Latino

Theme of this show is women in every match but the top 2. The highlight of that is the Apaches vs Traumas. Maybe without Old Man Navarro around, they can actually do that match this time.

Semimain is three falls: first fall “classic”, second fall “extreme”, third fall “ultraviolent”. I had no idea there was a difference between the last two.
