CMLL (SUN) 12/19 Arena Coliseo [Cesar, CMLL]
1) Bengala & Metatrón b Camorra & Mortiz
2) Dalys la Caribeña, Lluvia, Marcela b Amapola, La Seductora, Princesa Blanca
3) Euforia, Nosferatu, Pólvora b Fuego, Molotov, Rey Cometa [MEX TRIOS, eightfinal]
4) Metal Blanco, Palacio Negro, Sagrado b Arkángel de la Muerte, Loco Max, Skándalo [MEX TRIOS, eightfinal]
5) Metal Blanco, Palacio Negro, Sagrado b Euforia, Nosferatu, Pólvora [MEX TRIOS, quarterfinal]
6) Atlantis, Rey Bucanero, Último Guerrero DQ Blue Panther, La Máscara, Shocker
Sagrado’s has not been part of a regular group since early 2009, when he held these same trios titles with young promising high flyers Sombra and Volador Jr. He’s now two wins away from winning them back with young promising high flyers Metal Blanco & Palacio Negro. Those are tough comparisons to live up to, and neither of these guys are experienced even as Sombra was a couple years ago, but Palacio Negro has been impressive in the little we’ve seen and CMLL is clearly high on Metal Blanco.
Blanco represented his team in the seeding battle royal and shockingly won it over the more experienced guys (Cometa, Nosferatu and Loco Max), eliminating two of them. Molotov replaced Pegasso for unexplained reasons. Nosferatu may finally be in Los Cancerberos, though I won’t believe it until Virus confirms it. In the other match, the young GDL natives took out Loco & Skandalo with dives, and Sagrado beat Arkangel. Tuareg were shocked to lose. Cancerbros rushed the recovering tecnicos, but it sounds like it turned into a great final with both new guys getting over immediately. Metal Blanco wrapped up Euforia with a surprise ‘rana for the block win.
Shocker was taken to hospital to get his right knee checked after the main event, which may explains why the match had some strange finishes. Sounds like Shocker was hurt in the first. The rudos took that fall, then Ultimo Guerrero hit Shocker with the stretcher until the refs called a DQ. Security took the stretcher away, so Ultimo Guerrero hit Shocker with closed fists until he was DQed again, ending the match. Shocker, laying in the ring and unable to stand, decided this would be a good time to challenge for a title match. Ultimo Guerrero beat him up again, until the other tecnicos made the save, and challenged Shocker to a mask vs hair match.
Seductora and Marcela had non-storyline issues in their match.
DTU (SAT) 12/18 Deportivo Tlalli [Estrellas del Ring, Black Terry Jr. @ flickr, Al Filo del Ring]
1) Jhonkys b Muerte Bucanera, Miedo Extremo, Pequeno Cobra, Electro Boy, Kaleth
2) Sexy Star b Chika Tormenta, Ashley, Lolita, Megan, Vanely, Keira, Lily Fighter
3) Hormiga b Eterno [hair]
4) Zumbi b Joe Lider [DTU, vale todo]
5) Flamita b Drastik Boy and Daga [DTU Alto Rendimiento]
6) Aeroboy & Crazy Boy b Ciclope & Dance Boy and Cerebro Negro & Dr. Cerebro and Dark Finder & Xtreme Warrior
7) Super Mega L Paranoiko and Dement Xtreme and Pesadilla and Violento Jack and Último Gladiador and Juan el Ranchero [hair, cage]
8) Joe Lider b Zumbi [hardcore, DTU]
3rd Anniversary show. As usual, many things going on here.
Zumbi & Joe Lider agreed to one match in each other’s styles. Zumbi won the vale todo style (basically a MMA match) and Lider won the title back later in the night in the usual hardcore match.
Super Mega escaped the cage, but returned because he had some issue with Paranoiko. That worked about as well as usual. Charly Manson helped Paranokio (because I guess they had to get Charly on the show somehow?) and Mega was last in.
Wasn’t the story here that Aeroboy (and Violento Jack) had turned on mentor Crazy Boy? I missed something. ANyway, team DTU won the four way tag battle.
Flamita won the tournament and a new title belt, judging from the picture.
Hormiga used a foul and feet on the ropes to keep his mask. Eterno took the haircut.
CMLL (FRI) 12/17 Arena Neza [Black Terry Jr., The Gladiatores, Estrellas del Ring]
1) Apolo Estrada Jr. & Durango Kid b Camaleón & Guerrero Maya Jr.
2) Sensei & Starman b Artillero & Súper Comando
3) Coco Blanco, Coquito, Neza Kid b Hermano Muerte III, Puma King, Tiger Kid
4) Metro & Stuka Jr. b Misterioso II & Sangre Azteca
5) La Máscara, Máximo, Rotoporky b Rey Bucanero, Terrible, Texano
6) Héctor Garza & Mr. Águila b Latin ♥ & Shocker
We found Tirantes! He was busy costing Latin Lover the match here. I have no idea what this means.
Fourth match was more of the usual for Sangre Azteca; he and Misterioso argued to a loss.
After the third match, all six guys, Dralion, Carta Brava Jr., and Starman entered themselves into the Christmas Day cage match here. The Tuareg are already in, the Angels might also be in, I think I may be in this match – hopefully a lineup surfaces this week to clarify the field.
CMLL (SAT) 12/18 Poliforo Juan Gabriel, Ciudad Juarez [@conjuarez]

Rudo Revelation: Comando Negro (who also was among those honored as a future star)
Preliminary: Alan Extreme
Tag: Hijo de Cien Caras & Mascara Ano 2000 Jr.
Trio: Terrible Cerebros
Exotico: Diva Salvaje
Foreigner: Veneno
Spectacular: Freelance
No results post yet from the Toryumon show, but it looks like the returning Angelico won the Young Dragon’s Cup. And Black Tiger V showed up to menace Ultimo Dragon yet again. Black Terry Jr. has video of the Navarros vs Solars from this show and Nikita has a review of that.
Also no full results from the Juniors/Guerra de Leyendas show, but DJ Spectro posts video and notes Enrique Vera took El Verdugo’s hair. I know there are empty seats in the crowd, but they actually seem to have drawn much better than I’d figure for a show featuring guys who aren’t TV stars.
Mascara Ano Jr. took Pirata Morgan’s hair in tonight’s Arena Naucalpan cage match.
CMLL Guadalajara started tweeting out results of their show on a new Twitter account, but they seem to have gone quiet before the main event. Hope they stick with it.

While I would have loved to see Euforia and Nosferatu finally take home a title I am really liking the team of Sagrado,Palacio ,and Blanco.Having Sagrado in the leader type role to the two new guys should be alot of fun.
Hmmmm do i want Sagrado and team to win the title or do i want them to team regularly? The two seem mutually exclusive in CMLL these days
You know, Team GDL vs Metro, Stuka and Delta makes absolutely no sense as a final. Which means it’s the final CMLL is booking.
