CMLL (TUE) 12/14 Arena Mexico [ESTO, CMLL]
1) Rayo Tapatío I & Rayo Tapatío II b Cholo & Zayco
2) Guerrero Maya Jr., Leono, Starman b Apocalipsis, Demus 3:16, Escorpion
3) Metro, Stuka Jr., Valiente b Euforia, Nosferatu, Skándalo
4) Atlantis, Dragón Rojo Jr., Último Guerrero b Blue Panther, La Máscara, Máximo
5) Shocker b Texano [NWA LH]
New champion! Shocker took the first with a small package, Texano beat Shocker in the second with his own reinera, and Shocker won the third with a cradle (maybe the Villano side one?) to win the title.
The new belt clearly has a CMLL logo in the center of it, but they’re still calling it both “NWA World” and “NWA Historic” and Rafa el Maya wore a shirt with a NWA Logo. Shocker is either the 2nd or 66th champion depending on how you’re counting.
Euforia fouled Valiente out of desperation. Leono beat Escorpion with a on legged campana. CMLL calls the hold “motocicleta”. Cesar also identifies Zayco and Cholo‘s signature moves, stunning us who can’t believe Cholo has a signature move.
CMLL (TUE) 12/14 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [Fuego en el Ring]
1) Javier Cruz Jr. b Acertijo
2) Black Metal & Neutrón b Ángel del Mal & Evola
3) La Comandante & Princesa Blanca b Goya Kong & Silueta
4) Ángel de Oro, Diamante, Rush b Pólvora, Shigeo Okumura, Yoshihashi
5) Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto b Místico, Sagrado, Strong Man
Mistico had Mephisto finished, but the referee was busy with the other four guys. Mephisto pulled Mistico’s mask and pinned him for the win.
Satanico & Pato Soria tossed shirts out to the fans during the show.
CMLL hasn’t put up the lineup yet, but next Monday’s main event will be Shocker & La Mascara vs Ultimo Guerrero & Dragon Rojo for the tag team titles.
LA Park doesn’t really care that an ally is currently AAA MegaChamp – he wants the title now.

CMLL 3.1
AAA 3.4
@LLL: 3.4 for GdT? WTF?
so definitely no chilapancingo taping this year?
@CM93: IIRC, last week’s AAA said, “Next week, Part 1 of Guerra de Titanes”. I wonder if fans thought this meant that the card would be televised with matches in order, and the big matches would not air until week 2?
That’s how they advertise every AAA major show and they never just show the undercard matches one week.
Me thinks that the attendance + these ratings kinda tell this story: GdT wasn’t a card that folks were really excited about.
Man Texano and Terrible should take a page from he Florida Brothers playbook and pretend to be Japanese. then CMLL would push them to the moon.
