IWRG (SUN) 12/12 Arena Naucalpan [Black Terry Jr. (flickr), Estrellas del Ring, Mi Lucha Libre, MT (2), Mi Lucha Libre (2)]
1) Dinamic Black b Keshin Black
2) Black Terry, Comando Negro, Magia Negra DQ Chico Che, El Pollo, Miss Gaviota
3) El Hijo de Aníbal, Scorpio Jr., Tony Rivera b El Hijo del Diablo, Hammer, Veneno
4) Pirata Morgan b Máscara Año 2000 [super libre]
5) Hijo de LA Park, LA Park, Máscara Año 2000 Jr. b Hijo de Pirata Morgan, Silver King, Último Gladiador
LA Park worth the mask and gear of Hijo de Cien Caras. This was a benefit show for his fallen brother, with a mass before the show took place. Park continued the Dinamitas feud with Silver King thru the match. After the Maniacos snuck in fouls, the Parks came back with their own to take the match. Estrellas del Ring has video of the night.
Pirata Morgan blooded Mascara and beat him clearnly, which sets up their hair match next Sunday.
Tecnicos managed to win the tercera, but Diablo & Gringo Loco beat up Tony Rivera after the match. Seems headed to a Hijo del Diablo/Tony Rivera hair match.
Chico Che and Comando Negro were ripping masks and gauging each other, but Chico Che left the match early with a knee injury. Comando Negro fouled El Pollo (or maybe his mascot El Pollito?) for the DQ.
CMLL (SUN) 12/12 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [Fuego en el Ring]
1) El Divino b In Memoriam
2) Malefico, Puma King, Tiger Kid b Leono, Samurai, Sensei
3) Hooligan, Loco Max, Semental b Ángel de Plata, Guerrero Maya Jr., Molotov
4) Fuego, Rush, Valiente b Pólvora, Shigeo Okumura, Yoshihashi
5) Místico, Shocker, Toscano DQ El Alebrije, Mr. Águila, Psicosis
Mr. Aguila took the spot that was originally for Charly Manson. Psicosis fouled Mistico, which set up a singles match for next week. Busy week for Mistico.
Valiente replaced Delta, who was double booked in Guadalajara. Hooligan, Loco Max and Semental thru tortilla to the audience. Can’t imagine where they got that idea. Molotov replaced Fabian, which was changed during the week.
Before the show, they started a new annual tradition of a going to a mass as a group as part of Our Lady of Guadalupe festivities. AAA had their own ceremony today.
Haven’t seen results from the Lucha Libre USA show yet, but did see them mention the next taping to take place on 01/22.
LuchaWorld has t-shirts for sale.

Lineups
CMLL (SUN) 12/19 Arena Coliseo
1) Bengala & Metatrón vs Camorra & Mortiz
2) Dalys la Caribeña, Lluvia, Marcela vs Amapola, La Seductora, Princesa Blanca
3) Metal Blanco, Palacio Negro, Sagrado vs Arkángel de la Muerte, Loco Max, Skándalo and Fuego, Pegasso, Rey Cometa and Euforia, Nosferatu, Pólvora [MEX TRIOS, tournament]
4) Blue Panther, La Máscara, Shocker vs Atlantis, Rey Bucanero, Último Guerrero
Yes, ANOTHER TOURNAMENT. Although the suggestion was the winner of the p0ll (42.29% Delta, 38.61 Angel de Oro) would replace Mascara Dorada as the new trios champion, the titles have instead declared vacant. There will be four team blocks on 12/19 and 12/26, with the winners facing off on 01/02. The winner of the tournament will face Metro, Stuka and the poll winner on 01/09. That show had previously been announced as an Arena Mexico fan appreciation show. This may have been the plan all along, since JCR also mentioned the situation wouldn’t be resolved 2011.
However we’re getting here, that’s quite the collection of internet notable teams…
- Euforia & Nosferatu, who can’t stop teaming and advancing in tournaments despite Nosferatu still never getting his Cancerbero membership card. Though Polvora is probably higher on Nosferartu than Sangre Azteca.
- Team Luchadors Who Really Should Have Been In That Poll And Never Get Anything To Do Despite Frequent Awesomeness (Team LWRSHITPANGATDDFA for short)
- The Tuareg, who must be facing the previous team in the first round since the Angels aren’t in this block
- Team Viva Guadalajara! with Metal Blanco and Palacio Negro making their DF debut and at least one of them doing something nutty. This may double as Team Epic Fail.
…I have no idea who I’m rooting for here. Angels would seem an easy bet for the other block. Maybe Puma/Tiger/Bronco, another Tuareg trio, maybe Leono/Fabian/Metalico? Rush fits stylistically, but this is a total low midcard parade and he would seem to have better things to do. (On the other hand, if he is in, then they’re easily winning.)
CMLL (SUN) 12/19 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) Nube Roja vs Acertijo
2) Leono, Metal Blanco, Trueno vs Malefico, Puma King, Tiger Kid
3) Ángel de Plata, Black Metal, Metálico vs Hooligan, Semental, Virus
4) Máximo, Metro, Rush vs Mr. Águila, Olímpico, Texano
5) Místico vs Psicosis
Seems like there’s an exchange program going on this week, a lot more CMLL DF guys here this week.
Metal Blanco is probably not working both shows. Probably.
Leono and Trueno < Black Metal.
