Mi Lucha Libre kind of points out how confusing the Octagon attackers storyline is. Cibernetico says he was the motorcyclist, Super Fly says he was the guy in the skull mask, but the guy in the skull mask was the guy on the motorcycle originally. They could be working together, but there were times where the Skull Mask and Cibernetico were around at the same time and didn’t appear to be friends. attacked Cibernetico. Their theory is Cibernetico was the motorcyclist, but Super Fly stole the gimmick to cause confusion. It’s confusing, for sure.
The WON says Sin Piedad drew 8,400, Guerra de Titanes drew “a little more than 6,000”, and the GDL show with Rayo”2,750, compared to 1,000 on a usual Sunday. AAA and Charly had been talking for “some time” but there were hard feelings on each side and it seemed to be a dead deal two days before the show. They worked it out hours before the show. AAA has talked to ex-WWE-ers Matt Hardy, Carlito and MVP about possibly appearing on a major show next year (not necessarily all the same one.)
Tokyo Sport declared Strong Man and Nakanishi the Tag Team of the Year. I wonder what would’ve happened if they actually won the G1, rather losing in the semimain.
Perros del Mal posted a photo of El Balam, who debuted on Tuesday’s show. Kinda looks like Toxico.
