indy (SAT) 10/02 Arena Lopez Mateos [Al Filo del Ring]
1) Astro Boy II, Hijo del Pantera, Mascara Oriental, Zairus b Chapuline Negro, Epidemia, Heavy Boy, Zeus Jr.
2) Chucho el Roto, Iron Love, Yakuza b Mohicano I, Mohicano II, Rey Mohicano
3) Aguila Solitaria, Pantera II, Robin Maravilla b Rey Krimen, Sepulturero I, Terry 2000
4) Super Muñeco, Super Pinocho, Super Raton DQ Bronco (UWA), Rocky Santana, Romano Garcia
5) Blue Panther, Mil Mascaras, Rambo, Scorpio Jr. b Gran Alebrije, Histeria II, Monsther, Psicosis II
Recap says attendance was not good, disappointing the promoter. Alebrije and Monsther replaced Charly and Olimpico. Mil won with a plancha on Alebrije, then hurried to the back to avoid signing autographs.
CMLL (SUN) 10/03 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [Fuego en el Ring]
1) Javier Cruz Jr. & Thunder Boy b Metalik & Templario
2) Silueta b Princesa Maya
3) Amapola, Estrellita, La Comandante b Dark Angel, Lluvia, Marcela
4) Felino b Gallo [OCCIDENTE LH]
5) Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas, Psicosis b Hijo del Fantasma, Sagrado, Toscano
Despite feuding elsewhere, rudos got along fine in the main event and beat Sagrado for the win.
Felino won the first and third fall to win the title, though there was bit of referee issues in the third fall.
Plenty of tweeting about the Battle of The Promotions IWRG/DTU/AAA show last night but I haven’t seen results yet.
The Wii version of Heroes del Ring is delayed until”sometime in November. The PS3 and 360 versions still come out next week, and the DS and PSP versions are curiously unmentioned.
An (CMLL PR) article hyping Volador vs La Mascara talks about them starting together as a trio with Mano Negra Jr. Volador was already Mexican Trios Champion when Brazo de Oro Jr. was debuting, so I’m not sure what they’re talking about. Mascara was part of the Guapos U team who got a title shot against Volador’s team back then. Also, sucks to be Mano Negra Jr.

i wonder if we’ll hear a word about CMLL in Austin.
So Shocker/Rey Bucanero vs Hector Garza and Hijo Del Fantasma is booked for ACM on October 10th. I wonder who will replace Shocker and Garza teaming with Fantasma is weird? I guess it makes sense since it is a homaje to Humberto Garza
Past weekend
Smackdown 9.6
CMLL 2.7
AAA 4.5
Barack Obama’s Approval Rating < 40%
Hey Cubs, after you commented about Galavision digitizing a graphic, I went to warriorx2000’s youtube to what it was.
It was a graphic and crawler for Pena’s mass.
What does Barack Obama have to do with CMLL’s TV rating?
@thecubsfan: LLL blames Obama for everything. Including CMLL tv.
I think Keith gets the actual ratings from Obama who just happens to be the guy that sits outside the local convenience store begging for spare change.
@thecubsfan: Nothing yet. If the Democrats don’t get swept away in the midterms in November, they’ll be one step closer to a “fairness doctrine”, which is meant to help “minoritiy” television stations, which could force cable and satellite to carry stations like LATV. So more people might be able to see CMLL thanks to Obama and the liberals.
Any word on how CMLL did in Austin?
“Nothing yet.”
Focus on that part.
@thecubsfan: @Alan: Calm down guys. I was just kidding. I always finish the ratings with praise of AAA, or some obscure boxing or soccer ratings. Today I was thinking of the election after seeing highlights of Linda McMahon vs. Blumenthal.
Let’s go back: The Worlds Most Gracious Animals, the lead in to AAA, did a 3.7 Kind of sad that show does so much better than CMLL.
But the big news today is that Televisa bought a $1.2 billion stake in Univision/Galavision/Telefutura.
