IWRG (SUN) 09/19 Arena Naucalpan [DJ Spectro]
1) ? & Jack b Epidemia & Nemesis
2) Black Terry, Dinamic Black, Freelance DQ Carta Brava Jr., Comando Negro, Magia Negra
3) Avisman, El Hijo del Diablo, Escoria b Cerebro Negro, Dr. Cerebro, Mike Segura
4) El Hijo de Aníbal DQ Máscara Año 2000 Jr.
5) Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown b La Parka Jr., Scorpio Jr., Tinieblas Jr.
Psycho Circus won in straight falls.
Mascara was DQed for a light tube. That’ll do it. That was only a one fall match.
Tercera included referees fighting at the end.
Comando Negro dropped Freelance with a martinete for that DQ, causing Freelance to be stretchered out. I think they’re actually doing Comando Negro/Freelance at one point, and I really have no idea who would win. Freelance can lose his hair at any moment, but you do not invest in IWRG novatos keeping their masks.
CMLL (SUN) 09/19 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [Fuego en el Ring]
1) Relampago b Quca
2) Black Metal & Idolo b Drago & In Memoriam
3) Hierro & Virgo b Ángel del Mal & Mr. Trueno
4) Dragón Rojo Jr., Shigeo Okumura, Yoshihashi b Ángel de Oro, Ángel de Plata, Gallo
5) Jushin Liger, Mr. Águila, Volador Jr. b Blue Panther, La Máscara, Máscara Dorada
Jushin Lyger stole Mascara Dorada’s mask and small packaged him. Dorada demadned revenge.
Dragon Rojo powerbomb on Angel de Oro ended the semifinal.
Virgo got the win over Mr. Trueno, continuing their feud.
Rob writes about Hombre Bala, Robin vs Brazo Metalico, and more random stuff. The tearful Hombre Bala tribute Rob refers to is over on Al Filo del Ring.

Shocker hasn’t made any of his recent matches, so it wouldn’t be a surprise for him to miss here.
First match for Bracito de Oro in a CMLL ring since losing his mask. Mini Olimpico is randomly back to the tecnico side after randomly being on the rudo side; maybe they’ll actually do a turn this time?
DF rudos vs Puebla tecnicos feud continues.

That’s an interesting main event. (This show isn’t taped. Fuego en el Ring should bring a video recorder.)
Mr. Trueno is the current champion, and hasn’t defended the title since last June as far as we know.

Mascara Dorada’s about to win his fifth title in the near future.
Weekend ratings
Smackdown 8.4
CMLL 3.7
AAA 4.1
AAA. Cada vez mejor.
mun2 did their best three-day period ever peaking on 9/15 with 185,000 viewers with a RAW repeat in English. They beat Galavision by 50%, which is a huge gap.
I’d love to see a Wednesday night war. AAA vs RAW replay. Why not? AAA already does as good or better on weekends. But Galavision does not want AAA in their primetime lineup, so it’s stuck on weekends. However, if mun2 keeps beating up Galavision, well, who knows?
@LLL: There is a Raw repeat in English in Mexico?
@Alan: mun2 is an American network.
@Alan: Alan, I feel so bad for you, having to fly in an airplane. I will never fly for the rest of my life. Be safe. Choose your flights CAREFULLY.
@Alan: where are you flying to?
…
You need a blog, Keith. Preferably with daily updates.
@LLL: Ahh, sorry I didn’t comprehend your comment or that would have been clear. And, thanks for your concern, but I think we do OK when flying.
@CM93: I’m not flying anywhere in the immediate future, but we live overseas (currenlty in Lima, Peru), so I do fly on a somewhat regular basis.
@Alan: mun2 is a Spanish station in the US. But it’s mostly Spanglish or English-language programming, while Galavision USA is mostly Televisa, so I don’t even think it’s fair to compare them.
I’m obsessed with plane crashes, which is why I no longer go to Mexico, or anywhere for that matter. Just long drives on 95.
