4/5 was a surprise; everyone was expecting the locals to lose and face off. Copetes was ref and helped the locals win. Nicho and Lider were forced to fight. Lider put Nicho thru a table and the match was stopped because the doctor was concerned about Nicho. Nicho was taken to the back, but came back, got DDTed, and kicked out. Lider ended up backdropped thru another table for the win.
Crowd was not a fan of the main event. Parka and Park exchanged fouls, with Parka getting away with one for the win.

Ratings
AAA: 4.5 – up 0.4
CMLL: 4.1 – up 1.6, highest number since the day after Dos Leyendas
Lucha Libre USA: 0.06 – down 0.06, lowest number so far; coincidentally (or not), they’re looking for info about when/where you watch this show on Twitter.
CMLL’s added Metal Blanco (c) vs Angel del Mal for the Ocicdente Welterweight Championship to this Sunday.
El Siglo de Torreon has a good interview with Hooligan. When he and Ultimo Guerrero came to Mexico City, they were so poor that they couldn’t afford to buy gear, so they got a job with a costumer (El Pony from Monterrey) and lived there. Hooligan discovered an aptitude for sewing, and today is a mask and costume designed of his own. His son, Ultimo Rebelde, works with him, and his work is sold in the US and Japan.
CMLL pulled Mr. Aguila from IWL’s show Thursday This is not surprising; Aguila apparently agreed to work here when he was in Perros del Mal, and CMLL isn’t going to let him work on a show with people who are still in the Perros now. (IWL says CMLL pulled Aguila because CMLL is boring.) The Jerry Lynn vs Mr. Aguila match is now Halloween vs X-Fly. Also, Damian 666 hypes his match with Val Venis (the guy they had listed as “Paul Dennis” – still do, actually) and says to go to Arena Naucalpan if you like the same vs the same, since they’re doing a dream match.
Ovaciones has an interview with Gallo Tapado Jr., who says he’s leading a new promotion built around juniors. Wrestlers announced include: Carta Brava Jr., Halcon Jr., Hijo de Rambo, Tatu el Brujo, Arana de Morelos Jr., Dr. Karonte Jr., Artuo Gaona Jr., Hijo de Climas, Kung Fu Jr., Hijo de Fishman, Hijo de Canek, Scorpio Jr., Ultraman Jr., Hijo de Cien Caras. Probably not a one who’s going to mean much. They’ve got three shows announced, starting 09/04 in Tepalcapa.
CMLLPekes.com, the kid’s website CMLL has been promoting on it’s TV show (and often mispelling) is down. They’ve set up a blog in the meantime, with profiles of Sangre Azteca, Stuka Jr., and Mistico (where we learn IWRG is a promotion in Japan.)
