5) Rayo de Jalisco Jr.Universo 2000 [WWA HEAVY]

Talked about the main event earlier.

Loco Max fouled Centella de Oro for the DQ, and the two rematch next week. Don’t know why I’m mentioning this, but Arena Puebla’s anniversary show is coming up really soon, and Centella de Oro has been in a hair match on those shows the last two years.

No result for the opener. We’re all professionals here.

CMLL (TUE) 07/06 Arena Mexico
1) Metálico & Trueno vs Cholo & Semental
2) Ángel Azteca, Fuego, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Euforia, Pólvora, Virus

4) Blue Panther, Shocker, Toscano vs El Alebrije, Histeria, Psicosis
5) Hijo del Fantasma, Máscara Dorada, Místico vs Atlantis, Rey Bucanero, Último Guerrero

Fan appreciation show, so the hair/hair match takes place this week. Could go either way and probably isn’t the end for those two.

CMLL (TUE) 07/06 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara

2) Astaroth & Virgo vs Acertijo & Infierno
3) Metal Blanco & Palacio Negro vs Ángel del Mal & Malefico

Messala in the semimain is still weird.

CMLL Guadalajara Teleforumla #1 (06/26/2010)

Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 05/04/2010

I wanted to set an over/under for how many more episodes would air, but I kept wanting to take the under. If this is one episode and done, I would not be surprised. It’s more a reflection of Teleformula’s programming quality and consistency than the CMLL show, but the CMLL show was also produced as if it was a pilot episode to shop around to a few networks. Who knows if they actually taped more. (CMLL haven’t even mentioned the existence of this show yet.)

Super Porky & Asesino Negro

Gallo, Metal Blanco, Palacio Negro vs Exterminador, Malefico, Mr. Trueno: Even if we get nothing else, we got Palacio Negro being insane. I’d be surprised if they planned it this way, but this was actually a strong show as an introduction. This was a nice showcase for the local tecnicos they wanted to get over, and the main event was a storyline in progress (interest level in storyline may vary.)

Gallo really should be used as the local hero who stays here forever. He’d have a much more memorable/enjoyable career than he probably would in Mexico City.

La Máscara vs Averno: kinda worthless, probably still would be in if they aired the third floor. Exactly the match you’d expect these guys to have, but at a very basic/mailed in level.

Brazo de Plata, Máximo, Toscano vs Asesino Negro, Terrible, Texano: They tried!

Puebla, Guadalajara, Relampago explains why he confused Tiger (again!)

CMLL (MON) 06/28 Arena Puebla [La Primera de Puebla (photos), Fuego en el Ring]
5) Rayo de Jalisco Jr. b Universo 2000 [WWA HEAVY]

Rayo retaining is the only result that’s turned up.

CMLL (TUE) 06/29 Arena Mexico [@cmllmagazine]
1) Rayo Tapatío I & Rayo Tapatío II b Mortiz & Zayco
2) Astro Boy, Guerrero Maya Jr., Starman b Apocalipsis, Artillero, Súper Comando
3) Demus 3:16, Pequeño Warrior, Pierrothito b Bam Bam, Mascarita Dorada, Último Dragoncito
4) Ray Mendoza Jr., Rey Bucanero, Último Guerrero b Blue Panther, Sagrado, Valiente
5) Brazo de Plata, Hijo del Fantasma, Máscara Dorada b Héctor Garza, Negro Casas, Texano

Replacements: Garza for Terrible, Mendoza for Atlantis, and Ultimo Dragoncito for Tzuki

Not much to say about the main. Mendoza did not get along with the Guerreros in the semimain. Even after Ultimo saved Mendoza from being finished by Panther to pick up the win, V5 and the guy who took his mask had issues after the match.

Tercera was more Demus/Bam Bam feuding. Demus got away with the foul this week for the pin, and the two agreed on a hair match. They’ve split the two they had, Demus winning the last one. Pierrothito needed medical help after the usual bit of Dragoncito killing him with a tope con giro.

Fuego en el Ring

CMLL (TUE) 06/29 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [Fuego en el Ring]
1) Metalik b Nube Roja
2) Ángel del Mal & Exterminador b Angelo & Virgo
3) Malefico & Rey Trueno b Neutrón & Palacio Negro
4) Ephesto, Euforia, Felino b Delta, Diamante, Gallo
5) Máximo & Místico b Jushin Lyger & Mephisto

Mistico pinned Lyger, wants a title shot.

CMLL’s Twitter says Dragon Rojo is out hurt, though they don’t actually say with what or how long.

Another day, another explanation for why Relampago interfered at TripleMania: he has a secret past with Extreme Tiger and Tiger caused him a person problem way back when. Relampago says this grudge is serious, but he decided to wait a while before following up on it. He also refuses to explain what the issue is, telling people to ask Extreme Tiger. You could weave the two explanations, except yesterday’s one had Tiger said he just picked a person to annoy and this one says he did not just pick a random person to annoy. I like the first explanation better; that one didn’t give us another mystery with a likely unsatisfying resolution.

In more Relampago news, Impacto has an interview with him about the start of his career (PDF.) Relampago pitches lucha libre as a way to break free of alcohol and drugs. More usefully, he talks about being trained by Rafaga de Oro, el Mexico and el Apache. (So there’s one, Rob!) Relampago explains he did not have gear or a mask for his first match, so he asked to borrow a mask from someone and it just happened to have a lightning bolt.

La Parka calls Los Perros “Cubs” (which is apparently an insult???) and hopes they stay out of his match on Friday. Hope he has a plan B.

La Comandante says she, Terrible, and Texano are the best trio in all of Mexico. If they team up with Garza, it’s because Comandante convinced him.

Perros del Mal says Shelly Martinez & Annie Social are working with the group, doesn’t actually specify a show. Since the only show they have left is the lucha libre expo show, I’m going to guess they’re working lucha libre expo show.

Esther Moreno is listed on an August AAA house show, which makes it less likely she’s working the CMLL Nuevo Laredo show. Also, the mysterious Chiva Rayada returns again.

The Gladiatores interviews Super Halcon Jr., who must’ve be the “Hijo del Halcon” on the IWRG show Sunday.

LuchaWorld posts Dark Angel & Sahori vs Amapola  & Princesa Sujei from 2007, and the latest Pro Wrestling Revolution show (with E3 footage.)
