Mascarita Divina, Mini Charly Manson, Octagoncito vs Mini Abismo Negro, Mini Histeria, Mini Psicosis: reoccurring pattern of this show were matches that were not really good on their own but did the job in explaining the stipulation for TripleMania. Also, the winner of the preview match was usually the loser, like here where they did the couple ladder and chair spots and Mini Abismo won.
Cinthia Moreno, Fabi Apache, Mari Apache vs Jennifer Blade, Rain, Sexy Star: And here, where they talked about the maid outfit bit (and actually showed the post match bit of the rudas trying to dress Fabi in it on next week’s show), and yet the match wasn’t much good. I have not watched TripleMania at this point but I’m not expecting much.
Joe Lider & Nicho el Millionario vs Silver King & Último Gladiador: a random collection of moves, in no particular order, with a overbooked finish. NEXT.
Dr. Wagner Jr. vs Electroshock in a cage match: I think I’ve written ten different variations of this, but it bears repeating: AAA ran a cage match to have interference, to build up to a straight match with no interference. Lucha cage matches remain usually awful
Cibernético, Heavy Metal, Nicho el Millionario vs Chessman, LA Park, Zorro: another angle instead of a match. It was very strange that they didn’t show Parka being arrested for gimmick infringement in the ring, but plenty of stuff about the build to this feud have been plenty weird.
