CMLL’s training session was well covered: notimex, Record, ESTO, Ovaciones. The story here is Volador & Sombra are working well together while Mistico has some issues with Felino. Felino tried to make peace, but they ended up nearly fighting.

Only about 100-150 fans showed up for this, but that was enough to boo the rudos (causing Mistico to respond with gestures.) Diamante, Delta, Stuka and Angel de Oro trained with Volador & Sombra, and Angel Azteca Jr., Fuego, Cancerebero and Raziel worked with the rudos. (They couldn’t find two more rudos?)

While in Guadalajara in Tuesdya, Felino did interviews about the mask match. Felino doesn’t feel like he’s close to retiring – if this was a four way with “Tony Salazar, Ringo Mendoza, and Pierroth”, he’d feel that way – and instead thinks it proves he can still go with the young guys. Felino knows he’s the underdog, but believe his experience outweighs any edge the others might have in youthful athleticism. Felino says that if he were to lose the mask, he would take it off with great pride and dignity and not try to hide, nor retire right after. Felino still would’ve rather had the one on one match.

General previews of Dos Leyendas so far: ESPN Deportes, Kcidis, Box Y Luchas,

AAA held a press conference on Tuesday to hype up tomorrow’s  show in Juan de la Barrera. Most of it was going over the adjusted card and talking about how they ran there before and hope to run there more again. In the latter moments of the press conference, Dorian, Kenzo and Alex (what a trio) ran in on the press conference. Dorian continues to talk about his Nueva Era, proclaiming he’d hold a better attended press conference on Thursday (today). Nicho & Lider took this moment to complain they were defending the tag team titles against a team that holds no wins in AAA.

AAA writes about the history of the original La Parka in AAA.

Dos Leyendas/AAA chat this Friday

[poll id=”61″] I’ll be hosting another chat this upcoming Friday via CoverItLive. You can find the chat here, and I’ll also repost that link on Friday. Chat is tentatively planned to start at 10:00 pm Central Standard Time (11:00 EST, only 9:00 in Mexico City if I’m doing the conversion right), but I still need to sort of figure out when/if the radio coverage starts. I know the show is supposed to start at 8:30 local, but they never join right away.

The plan is talking about the results from Dos Leyendas and from AAA’s taping in Mexico City, but I vow to also be distracted by watching the second night of the NCAA tournament and whatever else. The chat will last until I can find a photo of the unmasked CMLLer, or the AAA taping ends, which ever happens last.

If you can’t join us, or want to avoid all social interaction, I plan on also having results on the blog and @luchablog.
