immoral victory/cmll

CMLL (TUE) 11/03 Arena Mexico [Notimex, ESTO]
1) Rayo Tapatío I & Rayo Tapatío II ?? Camorra & Cholo
2) Pegasso, Rey Cometa, Tigre Blanco ?? Hooligan, Pólvora, René Guajardo Jr.
3) Flash, Metro, Stuka Jr. b Euforia, Shigeo Okumura, Vangelis
4) Mephisto DQ Tetsuya Naito
5) Máscara Dorada, Místico, Volador Jr. DQ Ephesto, Felino, Negro Casas

Mascara Dorada was said to be off (news reports always seem to mention he used to be Metalik on his bad days), and then got fouled by Negro.

Mephisto won the first fall with a Demon Driller, and I have no idea what that this. He was winning the second match with Devil’s Wings when Okumura and Yujiro ran in. Two straight falls! Mephisto still got killed post match. The reports said the Avernos ran in for the save, but the pictures don’t seem to illustrate that. Maybe Ephesto had better things to do.

Okumura, who will be in a singles semimain of a show in about two weeks, lost in an unnoteworthy tercera here. Good news is almost no one surely saw it. (Wait, that’s the good news? Actually, the crowd looks bigger than 475 there.)

No results for the first two matches yet, though pictures are up on CMLL.com

CMLL (TUE) 11/03 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [Fuego en el Ring]
1) Acertijo & Relampago Azul b Idolo & Meteoro
2) Astaroth & Hierro b Drago & Malefico
3) Asesino Negro & Máscara Mágica b Gallo & Neutrón
4) Brazo de Plata, La Máscara, Toscano b Atlantis, Satánico, Último Guerrero
5) Héctor Garza b Terrible

Garza and Terrible exchanged rope assisted pinfalls, Garza coming up on top. Brazo de Plata replaced Panther, splashed everyone for the win.

AAA (SUN) 11/01 Arena Coliseo Monterrey [RFC]
1) Mascarita Divina & Octagoncito b Mini Abismo Negro & Mini Charly Manson
2) Cinthia Moreno, Dark Fantasy, Tiffany b Dama del Hierro, Estrellita, Goddess
3) Estrella Universal, Hombre Sin Miedo, Pimpinela Escarlata DRAW Rió Bravo, Tigre Cota, Tito Santana
4) Chessman, Konnan, Zorro b Alan Stone, Marco Corleone, Octagón
5) Jack Evans b Teddy Hart [super libre]

Moving Jack & Teddy to the main vent is a nice touch. Poder del Norte helped out the rudos in the semimain, with Konnan still fouling Marco for the win. Konnan Big turned up to challenge Konnan.

CMLL announced Val Venis will not be coming in this week. There’s no explanation of why. It does sound like he’s just not coming in at this time, but may come in at some other point. This has led to a lot of cards changed for the next week (including plenty of seemingly unrelated switches.)

Friday:
– Mephisto in for Mr. Niebla, which makes that a No Limit Villanos/Avernos trios
– Sombra in for Garza, Brazo de Plata in for Val Venis

Sunday DF:
– Valiente in for Toscano and Ray Mendoza in for Sangre Azteca

Sunday GDL:
– Toscano here for Val Venis
– Negro Casas in for Mr. Niebla

Looks like Mr. Niebla is still on secret suspension.

Rouge missed the Arena Puebla show, because he was hospitalized in Guadalajara with dengue hemorrhagic fever. Those symptoms sound like a bad time.

CMLL updated it’s champions page. All the champions are there, though the info on the champions depends on the guy. No list of the national minis title, no matter how many times commentary brings it up.

CMLL also has an official twitter: cmll_oficial

AAA hypes up another Cibernetico/Konnan fight, then notes they have no video or pictures of it. OK. Whatever happened to Wagner’s stipulations for Mesias?

El Sol de Orizaba says AAA is taping there on 11/20, which neatly replaces the Acapulco card originally scheduled for the same day. Wonder if they’ll have the same card.

  1. After seeing the picture & reading the results for the Tuesday CMLL show, NO LIMIT destroying Mephisto for some reason reminded me of an episode of South Park. ” It was called the Enola Gay and it was flown by monsters who dropped the bomb that day, Dolphin and Whale !!” I guess you can replace dolphin & whale with Avernos & Tecnicos.

  2. Fredo said on DVDVR that he hasn’t gotten any ACM for months since the famous mail snafu.
