The big news is Super Porky has been added to the main event. It was originally a tag match, and Black Warrior is added to the rudo side. SuperLuchas notes, with the addition of Porky, Super Porky and soon Val Venis, CMLL has bulked up it’s heavyweight division (in the strangest, most eclectic way possible.) I would guess Brazo de Plata doesn’t work that IWRG and Perros date. This seems like a late change, because ESTO has an article up promoting Sunday’s show as his debut.
Besides the great stuff with Dragon Rojo, Misterioso, Stuka, and Fantsama in France and Monaco, Ras de Lona mentioned Blanca suffered a waist (maybe tailbone) injury in her title match with Lady Apache. It sounded like she was going to be out a while, so I’m surprised to see her listed here.
Ovaciones also notes IWRG will be reopening up a restaurant on the outside of Arena Naucalpan. It’ll be renamed in honor of Adolofo Moreno, who passed away last year.
Fuego en el Ring has an interview with Dragon Rojo, who has nothing against the people of Guadalajara, but wants them to know the wrestlers from La Laguna are clearly better. He unmasked Mictlan and will do bad things to Mascara Dorada if the lightweight champ crosses him. Angel de Oro is less interesting.
An artist blog has illustrations of Kid Salvaje, a lucha libre spin on Where The Wild Things Are. There’s no publisher, but the art looks great.
Al Filo del Ring writes about what tickets give the rights to the fans to do and what they do not.
Kcidis has defeated Black Warrior and a cheery Monito.
