CMLL (THU) 10/01 Arena Isabel de Cuernavaca [EdR]
1) Flama & Juventud Dorada b Hechicero & Nahual
2) Astuto & Brazo de Platino b Skándalo & Vampiro Metálico
3) Black Thunder, Euforia, Nosferatu b Horus, Máscara Dorada, Turbo
4) Héctor Garza, Shocker, Toscano b Black Warrior, Terrible, Texano Jr.
Still running shows here, though it doesn’t soung like it’s that often. Tecnicos won in straight falls to set up Toscano challening Texano for a NWA LH title shot. Looks like it was actually Turbo (and Black Thunder) here.
CMLL (FRI) 10/02 Arena Mexico [el universal, Cesar, superluchas]
1) Leono & Tigre Blanco b Apocalipsis & Ramstein
2) Bam Bam, Eléctrico, Mascarita Dorada b Pequeño Damian 666, Pequeño Violencia, Pequeño Warrior
3) Metro CO Euforia
4) La Sombra, Valiente, Volador Jr. b Mephisto, Terrible, Texano Jr.
5) Felino, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas b Ángel de Oro, Héctor Garza, Shocker
6) Black Warrior, Místico, Último Guerrero DQ Naito, Shigeo Okumura, Yujiro
Mistico & UG won fall one, then Yujiro fouled Warrior in fall two for the straight fall win. The two finally agreed to a hair mask. It sounds like it’ll be 10/16, with a press confrence this Thursday to hype it up.
After the semimian, won via Garza taptia on Negro, Negro challenged Angel de Oro to a singles match next week, where Angel de Oro gets to stay in the top matches if he wins. Not actually sure if Angel de Oro agreed, though it seems like an easy decision. Fans were behind Negro and against Angel de Oro.
Sombra got hurt on a dive gone wrong in his match. The lightning match actually was stopped by the commission when Euforia took a powerbomb on the stage and could not continue, but they counted him out anyway.
Charly Manson tells OEM that he hopes to go to CMLL so he can show case his traditional lucha libre style.
Fuego en el Ring interviews Horus, who talks about el Faraon (says he’s actually his godfather) and Angel Blanco (grandson of the original, thought about switching to “Nieto de Angel Blanco”, though that wouldn’t work.)
AAA teases a return of X-Pac. Which might be the only thing to get them to do something with Zorro.
Lineups
CMLL (TUE) 10/06 Arena Mexico
1) Camorra & Cholo vs Apolo Estrada Jr. & Bengala
2) Hiroka, La Seductora, Princesa Blanca vs Estrella Mágica, Lady Apache, Star Fire
3) Arkangel de la Muerte, Nitro, Skándalo vs Flash, Pegasso, Rey Cometa
4) Máximo, Rouge, Stuka Jr. vs Felino, Heavy Metal, Misterioso II
5) Ray Mendoza Jr., Terrible, Texano Jr. vs Blue Panther, Shocker, Toscano
Discounted prices, and it’s a show that could use them. This is Star Fire’s first match here since May (where she hurt her knee.) Apolo Estrada Jr. is an Arena Solidarid wrestler getting a tryout here, maybe related to CMLL running there now. Or, it could be someone completely else and they typed the wrong name. Who can say.
No Friday lineup yet.

i thought charly sign with Perros
Metro actually blew a catch on Euforia’s dive so he landed on the floor like he’d been power bombed which caused the stoppage.
Apolo Estrada Jr. = Disturbio. They both have O’s so it’s an easy mistake.
So sad to see Arena Isabel with no fans in it.
Fox Sports gets the women and Garza/Volador Jr/Panther vs Ultimo/Felino/Warrior. Most important news from the women’s match is that Las Zorras have matching ring entrance gear and all wear black now.
Ultimo vs Volador could be good. Ultimo returned to his original mask for the first time in a while.
The stuff between Volador and Garza was interesting. Probably not going anywhere with it, but it seems like it could be a decent three way match if they wanted to go that route at some point.
One other Fox Sports note. For the last two weeks, they were heavily promoting Lucha Libre Premier during the CMLL show, running several commercials each week. This week, I didn’t notice any comercials for it.
CMLL TV airing top 3.
CMLL TV says Mictlan is in for Stuka Jr. on Tuesday’s C3 show.
If that’s true, than Tuesday’s show will most likely be HORRIBLE. Possibly hell on earth.
@Calabcd44: No, that was last week’s AAA TV. Alfredo was so right.
@thecubsfan: Good point. I tried watching last weeks AAA but stopped after 20 minutes, due to possibly loss of vision.
@thecubsfan: I applaud anyone who kept watching after the Gronda angle.
CMLL TV says next Sunday is ‘Domingo Familiar’ in Arena Mexico w/ reduced prices. Strong Man, Shocker and Panther face Ultimo Guerrero, Atlantis and someone I forget in the main event.
HOLY SHIT TRIPLE RINGPOST MOONSAULTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
…
How can Sombra not be injured after that?
He just did the Aero Star reverse cannonball to nowhere…
is sombra okay?
Guess we’ll find out if he makes his upcoming matches. If he isn’t seriously hurt he should consider himself the luckiest man in the world and then he should kick Texano’s ass for diving forward to catch him. If Texano just stood still everything would have been alright.
peste negra’s ring gear look great
That match was pretty good until Sombra.
CM93. You’re right. I like Peste and I though Terrible and Texano had cool gear too.
The reaction to Angel De Oro is non-existent. Even his big dive was met with silence.
La Sombra’s dive was nasty. It looked like the move caught Texano off guard maybe?
Wow, Que Monito in the Momentos! That was a brutal landing he took though.
@Alan: Sombra did that same dive on the Anniversary Show so Texano had to know how it was gonna come off. I put the blame solely on Texano who should have just stood still. He probably jumped forward b/c he thought Sombra was undershooting the dive but Sombra had it perfect…
Ozz in the Relevos de Locura Atomicos match! LOL!
I like the Guerrero toss of Mistico into the in ring tornillo. The over the top rope toss needs some work though.
Does anybody know whats wrong with the Cadena3 stream? I just keep getting error messages :S
The Canal 44 site seems to be relaunching a new live feed so it’s not up at the moment.
The RealPlayer 28 feed is beyond laggy.
So looks like no C3 tonight.
Thanks for the update Rob. I got frustrated as hell with the lag which does not make for very good viewing. Looks like if I REALLY wanted to see this show I will wait for Alfredo to sell them through his site.
I was really looking forward to the return match in the semi-main and desperately needed something to take my mind off the Leafs. Oh well…
Semimain was good. Not much other than that.
Lucha Libre Premier seems to be a replay from last week. I suppose the good news is that they still have two more shows to air since there hasn’t been any talk of a second taping yet.
@Alan: Mascara Dorada do anything crazy?
New SuperLuchas has next Friday’s lineup. Strongman debuts against the Japanese trio. Semi-main looks TERRIFIC w/ Volador, Sombra (?), Dorada against Averno, Mephisto, Efesto. Lightning Match is Maximo against Misterioso.
No sign of Angel De Oro or Negro Casas so presumably that will be the Lightning Match on the 16th which will have Warrior vs Yujiro in the main event.
