Welcome to the week where I completely catch up on AAA. I’m all done, but I thought I’d spread them out to one a day to prevent them from blending together in your mind. They’ve already blended together in my mind, but what are you going to do. (Maybe “don’t get a month behind on these things.”)
Aerostar, Fabi Apache, Mari Apache vs Billy Boy, Cinthia Moreno, Sexy Star – that was quite the neckbreaking finish. It’s too bad they can’t find a way to use Mari more often. I mean, I don’t want to have the Apaches fighting again, but if she got a mask, I think we’d all be willing to pretend not to be able to tell
Crazy Boy, Extreme Tiger, Ultimo Gladiador vs Decnnis, Joe Lider, Nicho el Millionario – early on in a run of quite a Decnnis TV matches. I don’t know why everything aligned like it did, but it’s better than getting Brazo in this spot. This was a lot of moves, of course
Jack Evans vs Teddy Hart part 2 – so was this, to a numbing degree. For the finish, it was way too long. Even without the finish, it was Teddy doing moves for 12 minutes, and Jack doing a comeback where all those moves didn’t matter much. So, you know…
La Parka Jr., Latin Lover, Marco Corleone vs Chessman, Electro Shock, Oriental – a perfectly fine spot show main event
El Mesías vs Dr. Wagner Jr. – not even close to TripleMania, but also didn’t feel close to a finish when Cibernetico showed up, given what they did to each other last time. I guess, given what happens after, Cibernetico is actually telling the truth and Wagner really has been running from him for months and is really a coward? The whole Wagner thing does not become much clearer watching the show, for sure.
