New main event for Sunday, VdE card offically, Super X has a regular gig, ByL

Ovaciones has the lineup changes for Sunday’s Coliseo, though not so much mentioning the match that’s been removed. They do note next Sunday, 08/16 is a Fan Appreciation show, and “we can not rule out a hair vs hair match.” You know what? I’m ruling it out. That’s what I’m doing for you. (It’s Sangre/Valiente.)

Ovaciones also has the Verano de Escandalo card, which is exactly as had been leaked. Hooray.

Super X announced they’ll be running weekly Wednesday and Sunday shows at Bazaar Pericoapa (which may be renamed Arena Super X.) Shows start on August 29th, and it sounds like a good deal if they can pull it off. Juvi says they’ll have all the glamor of the WWE, plus videos, stories, and good logic. I wish he hadn’t said that, because now all I can think is “doomed.”

Sign on San Diego previews Lucha Va Voom, running a show there on Sunday. GO.

Team Yakuza agrees that recycling is a good option to save the planet. Also they want to beat the Psycho Circus, but priorities. Sugi says the trio has won 150 matches in a row. They left the Foreign Legion because Konnan has no money. Now, Kenzo provides the money, Sugi is fast, and Oriental knows both Japanese and Mexican style wrestling. Kenzo’s thinking about hiring another another guy, but he’s keeping the identity a secret so it’ll be a surprise. Kenzo also is thinking about using his money to by his own TV network, which would just show wrestling. This is a great interview.

Cibernetico will be on El Pantera, um, yesterday. I’m a little late on that, but there’s a rerun.

Box Y Lucha posted a lot of recent articles:
Alex Koslov points out, since he came to AAA, he’s won the Cruiserweight Title while X-Pac is in a never ending pointless feud with Zorro and Rocky isn’t even there half the time, and they lose when they team all up, so of course he’d turn his back on those guys. “So sorry, I’m not a loser.” He’s got a point. Alex bitterly complains he only lost the title because 3 people ganged up on 1. He should totally hold the person who made it a 4 way match responsible for that.

Hijo del Fantasma on his trip to Europe. Sounds like the Belgium show went especially well – 250 people expected, 3,500 showed up by the end.
Mesias vows revenge on Dr. Wagner Jr., will win title back, blah blah blah.
Perro Aguayo Jr.‘s current stance on his future is “I do not like to say now, but for now I have no plans of joining any company.” Plans can change.

– Column suggests the box y lucha commission should get to make title matches for the national titles, and champions would be required to defend. Article notes this will never ever happen.

Villano III talks about a day when Los Fantasticos (Kato Kong Lee, Kung Fu, Blackman) were supposed to challenge the Misioneros de la Muerte for UWA trios titles, but missed their flight. After they couldn’t get another one, they grabbed a car and sped towards the arena…only to get pulled over by the police for speeding. The police forced them to open their trunk so they could make sure nothing was being smuggled, then saw their lucha gear, realized who they were, and let them off, but it put them even later. Fantasticos made it to the building at 11:30, and were promptly told by the local commissioner that they’d be fined for being so late and the fans were angry about the long delay…so then the two sides had a great match and the fine got waved and everyone was happy.

– And, also, a video interview with Mr. Condor

Ras de Lona #57 has all the Infierno en el Ring participants going to a spa.

  1. lol @ Konnan Big vs. Aguayo. Seriously Perro make a big mistake with CMLL last year.

  2. “Juvi says they’ll have all the glamor of the WWE, plus videos, stories, and good logic.” hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I wonder which promotion will last by the end of the year, Perros Del Mal or Super X ? Judging by the comments stated above, I’d say adios Super X.
