2009 AAA TV Chart
Projected Air Date (#903, #904) – guessing
Mex: 08/30
US: 09/19

Either there are some storyline twists still coming or some stuff that’s completely flown in under the radar.

Cibernetico is apparently getting in the main event. As pointed out in the comments, a three way cage match doesn’t actually make any sense, unless they’re just doing normal pinfalls rules in a cage. They probably haven’t thought about this much yet.

Either one of the rudos seem like possible losers in the cage match, though we can’t really rule out Aerostar. With that as an apuesta match, they’re apparently decided to hold of on the other similar feuds.

54th match is the truly baffling one. The news article lists Electro’s team as “Wagnermania”, which would appear to mean
– Dr. Wagner Jr. is a rudo
– Ultimo Gladiador and Electroshock are allied with Dr. Wagner
– Ultimo Gladiador is a rudo

All of which is completely inexplicable. AAA is bizarrely fixated on treating Dr. Wagner the rudo when the crowd clearly and obviously is behind him. There’s little question about being on the rudo side when you’re facing a trio of Marco, Parka and Octagon.

Gronda/Elegido vs Lider/Nicho will be awful is not listed as a tag title match, but it surely most be. It’d be dumb to not make it a title match, but the existence of such match is dumb to begin with.

Why a 5 man match? I don’t know.

Psycho Clowns are probably underdogs in the opener.

  1. AAA is granting Wagner what he wanted in CMLL: being champ, rudo, and leader of a faction – he was the one who mentioned a Lagunero stable, but CMLL wouldn’t do it (and would fail later)

I guess Ultimo Gladiador is a sub for Ultimo Guerrero.

Actually, cage match would make sense if there are a bunch of run ins and they do one of those covered cage matches with pinfalls to avoid the run ins, but it still sounds a bit weird.

  2. I’m still trying to figure out why Ciber turned rudo.

And if it is true Wagner went heel, then the point of Silver King going back technico some shows back after being saved from a beat down from the Legion by his brother (ie: Wagner)was truly pointless.

I expect Sexi Star to lose her mask, and Ciber will be in the main event. I could be wrong.

  3. The past two months AAA was showing lots of signs of improvement but see they are regressing back to crapiness with this stupid line up.

I talked about Latin Lover not being on the expo, but it’s worse that he’s not in Verano de Escandalo.

  4. @Daniel: Random thought here that I have no information to back up, but I wonder if Latin and Konnan are doing some work around the supposed “Mexico’s Next Top Luchadora” show? This would explain why Konnan would be “suspended” and off TV for a while and might explain Latin’s whereabouts as well.

    Just a guess.
