AAA had an article about the Mesias’ luggage being lost on his flight back for Puerto Rico (so he was wearing more random stuff on the 07/19 taping), but the article is missing from the site. The article that still is up wonders if Yakuza could be the team to beat the Psycho Circus
ESTO has a preview of the Lucha Libre Expo. Getting back to the discussion in the comments, my point about AAA not needed to do a TV taping wasn’t as much about AAA’s popularity as the expo’s popularity. The once a year uniqueness of the event is something rarely more important than TV cameras. Unless it’s a morbid turnout, no one’s really keeping track of how many people sit around the main ring, they’re counting how many people by tickets for the entire days worth of activities and crediting them all to whoever’s running that day.
There’s an investigation going on in Nuevo Laredo, because someone broke the rules and two lucha shows were run against each other, a few yeards away from each other. They probably should’ve known this in advance, but now is the time for each side to blame the other. The article has a picture of the show with Juvi & Pirata Morgan, which seems to have little attendance. That was probably not helped by the other show being a free shows.
Mesias hypes Verano de Escandalo to Televisa Deportes.
Cesar notes the lack of work for those who’ve left CMLL and good wrestlers need to be able to wrestle different styles for different companies.
The Gladiatores has an interview with Rey del Ring winner Ricky Cruz. Veneno’s site has pictures of him in the Rey del Ring match.
Kcidias has not one, but two new toons.
