CMLL (WED) 06/10 Arena Coliseo Acapulco [Luchas 2000]
3) Hijo de Pierroth (IWRG), Hijo del Cien Caras, Pierroth II, Ricky Cruzz vs Acuarios, Black Thunder, Ludwig Star, Marco Rivera
4) Veneno, Villano III, Villano IV, Villano V DQ Atlantis, Euforia, Mascara Dorada, Nosferatu [Copa Pierroth]
Main event barely resembles the announced 4 trio tournament. Villano V fouled Atlantis for the DQ, but the Villanos and Veneno ran off with the trophy anyway.
Much of Luchas 2000 #474 seems hype for the July 4th show.
Joaquin Roldan says Dr. Wagner Jr. has signed an exclusive agreement to AAA for a year, which they can renew each year. Wagner will still work his previously agreed on indepedent dates but then that’s it. Roldan’s made statements close to this previously, but this seems firm. I’m doubtful Wagner will ever actually confirm this; it doesn’t actually help him. I do wonder if Wagner just took a whole bunch of indy dates before signing the contract. FWIW, Wagner explains the crowd cheered for him because he’s the Mexican, duh.
ESTO has a preview of today’s Arena Mexico show, noting Shocker’s win streak of late in Mexico City:

70s and 80s wrestler Cesar Valentino passed away Monday. He was 68. Beside his own career, he’s notable for training minis.
Luchando Libre points out a benefit of Tuesday Arena Mexico show – no scalpers to deal with. Ovaciones has it’s own preview, and a preview of AAA’s card on Wednesday. By total coincidence, it looks AAA’s paying to have it’s lineup shown on that page.
Toscano wants to wins masks and championships, but feels stifled from that because he’s teaming with Mistico. So he wants Mistico’s Mexican national welterweight championship, which Toscano talks about holding for many a year. Of course, Mistico is national light heavyweight champion, the title Toscano actually held the NWA World Light Heavyweight title, and Sangre Azteca is the Mexican welterweight champion (and would actually be someone Toscano would make sense feuding with.) What I read this article actually to mean is Toscano really would rather be a rudo and no one know who has what belt.
Fuego en el Ring has an interview with Mr. Trueno on his middleweight reign. Maybe Toscano can challenge for this one.
DJ Spectro rates TripleMania match by match.
An article about Friday’s Rey Misterio Sr. benefit show in Tijuana says Misterio Sr. is recovering well, but still needs funds to cover his medical expenses.

Ras de Lona has a quite pregnant India Sioux, and plenty of people talking about how they would match up with Texano.
