Rudos won in straight falls when Dos ripped off La Mascara’s mask and fouled Garza. Somehow, Dos is still not sure if he’s going rudo! Fans decided and booed. No member of the Caras/Mascara family has ever been rudos, but Dos Sr. worked a couple matches on the rudo side on some of the recent UWE shows.
Maximo did wrestle, did lose, did hurt his right leg. Fourth match was said to be really good. Attendance was said not to be.

Oh, Veo TV was top 4 from 2/25/07 @ Arena Coliseo and a bonus Coliseo match featuring Emilio, Pierroth, Lizmark, Satanico and two others. I ff’ed and could care less about looking up any sort of date.
Tuesday looks fun! I wonder why they refuse to match up Mascarita Dorada with Pequeno Damian any more @ the big arenas? Wouldn’t be shocked if we got a lame National Trios Titles match out of that semi-main. Wasn’t that the match they were building for Puebla at one point?
Friday has a rematch of that mini’s MOTYC from February! Hopefully it makes FSE. I see FSE aired the women’s segunda from last week so if they stick to the schedule it should squeeze on but you can’t tell any more.
They must really like that Dorada/Valiente/Metro trio. Either than or they’re building a Dorada vs Virus title match already?
I’m already calling Dos Jr.’s turn to be a complete bomb.

If everything SHIMMER Women Athletes promoter Dave Prazak said is true (as he confirmed Mike Johnson’s report that Sarah Stock signed with TNA Wrestling on the SHIMMER forum and also noted that Sarah Stock personally told him she did indeed sign with TNA Wrestling), this should be Sarah Stock’s final month with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, as she would be starting with TNA Wrestling in May (or June). Dave Prazak noted that starting in May, Sarah Stock’s matches in SHIMMER would be available only on first run editions of SHIMMER DVDS, due to SHIMMER’s contract with TNA Wrestling.

Puma King and Tiger Kid are Felino’s kids right? If so, is there a record for the most Casas appearing on one show?
I’m trying to decide between going Tuesday or Friday. Leaning towards Friday, but wish Damian was working that minis match instead. But, its tough to pass on Dorada and Dragoncito, and I have high hopes for the women’s lightening match.
@Alan: Everyone was sure Puma and Tiger were Felino’s kids, but then he said no and they said no, they were just taking up after their favorite uncle.
It’s funny, there was an interview on Ras de Lona with all five of them, and Felino called them his nephews, and Heavy Metal called them his nephews, and if Negro did as well, I didn’t hear it. But I could also be reading way too much into things.
@Alan: If only Pricesa Blanca was on the card. btw- With the Madonna music, baseball cap, and studded clothing, Blanca looks more lesbian than anyone in Mexico. Maybe that’s her goal for heel heat, or she just does not know how to dress.

@LLL: CMLL on Fox/LATV is pretty much a hit or miss show. Women’s match went way too long and the other match was pretty boring. I think the show would have been better if the women got about 15-20 minutes, followed by a lightning match and then a 15-20 minute trios match. Longer matches doesn’t necessarily mean better matches and in these types of shows were they’re just putting in two average matches, they should add that lightning match.
Have the lightning matches been airing on 52mx or are they just getting dropped now?
They’ve dropped them.:( It started the week of Mascarita Dorada vs Pequeno Warrior if you can believe it. That was supposedly the best of the bunch and THAT is when they stop airing them! Ugh.
It’s pretty sickening since those matches take up 5-7 minutes and then you watch the regular CMLL show that has 50+ minutes of commercials and silly non-wrestling related segments.
For anyone still keeping track, the only new match to air on Veo TV today was:

The FOX/LATV show has been lazy again. It’s six segments/blocks so it’s easier to just make each fall a segment, than to make two falls fit one segment, and add the lightning match.
The women took 3:30 for intros alone. The “replays” of each fall run about one-minute each, which is also too long.
The total running time is 46:30 for the show, which is 2:30 more per hour than most shows are(AAA is 44:00 per hour), so there’s time for the lightning match, and time for promos and clips with the top stars to explain the main angles, and make the show more interesting.
CMLL.com has Tigre Blanco and Tony Rivera as the winners of the opening match of the friday show.
I hate to sound stupid but what is a lightning match? Is it a shortened time match or what? I just want to learn.

Lightning match is a one fall, ten minute time limit match. They’ve been using them as showcases for midcard (and below) acts.
