taped 12/17, Arena Xalapa.
So, I got this video after it aired in Mexico, much before it aired in the US, and recapped it ahead of time so I’d be able to have it show up the day the show aired, because I was out of town that day. And then, things occur, and it sits around for weeks anyway. Sigh.
This show had a
– a rudo/rudo singles match
– a triangle ladder match with at least 2.5 rudos teams (and a poor job of established one team as tecnico if that was the idea)
– a trios match between rudos and guys who most people still think are rudos (plus Alan Stone, who people just think doesn’t matter.)
HMMM. Perhaps doing all rudo/rudo matches might be a reason people aren’t as excited for the show? That’s just crazy stuck in the past talk, forgive me.
Why is it, whenever they turn Chessman on a partner, Chessman always comes off as the wrong party? Charly’s being dumb (either go out on the attack or don’t go out during the match), just like Cibernetico.
I figured it out – they’re going to keep doing ladder matches until Jack dies. Came close this time! KENTA took one bump off the ladder and disappeared for the last five minutes. He’s smart.
The build they did for Abismo Negro’s Big Return peaked in the open. Complete non factor in the match, because only Mesias matters.
