5) Fuerza GuerreraZumbido [IWRG IC WELTER]

Zumbido seems to have acquired a Guapito v2.0. Didn’t help. Crazy Star shouldn’t be here if she’s in CMLL, but I’m thinking I should completely ignore that Ras de Lona segment now.

CMLL (SUN) 02/15 Arena Mexico [ESTO, Ovaciones]
1) MolotovSombra de PlataTruenoArtilleroRamsteinSúper Comando

3) Hijo del FantasmaLa MáscaraToscano DQ Black WarriorNegro CasasVangelis
4) AtlantisMr. NieblaRey BucaneroBlue PantherLa SombraVolador Jr.
5) Dos Caras Jr.Último Guerrero

Dos wins (Ovaciones says third fall with a press slam into a German suplex, ESTO says powerbomb), so he should get a heavyweight title shot. Except, there’s none listed. The idea seems to be that they need to wait until after UG defends the title tonight in Puebla against Hector Garza and see who the champion is after that before deciding anything.

ESTO is critical of Dos’ perfomance, saying he was too busy waving for reaction than fighting. There defintely was a part of the crowd behind UG.

Sombra hurt his rightshoulder on a dive in the semifinal and left the match. The rudos actually won three straight falls, just getting DQed for excessive violence in the second.

Rudos were DQed in the second for taking La Mascara’s mask. Vangelis replaced Heavy Metal.

UWE (SAT) 02/14 Arena Lopez Mateos [Ovaciones]
4) Mano NegraShu el Guerrero and El Fantasma and Dos Caras Sr. and Canek and Villano IV and Mil Mascaras [cagehairmask]

Mano Negra lost his hair to Shu el Guerrero, how did I not do a twitter update on that.

CMLL (SUN) 02/15 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [MT]
6) ShockerTerrible

Terrible took the first, Shocker surprised him in the second and took the third.

Head Hunters didn’t get along with Mascara Ano 2000 Jr., who ended up bleeding and beat.

AAA (SUN) 02/15 Arena Monterrey [RFC]
1) Dama de Hierro b Poly Star
2) Aguila Azteca & Aguila Extrema b Ejecutor & Mr. Secuestro
3) Relampago Azul & TDN b Decnnis & Escorpion Negro Jr.
4) Escoria & Ozz b El Alebrije & Virtual X
5) Killer Clown, Psycho Clown, Zombie Clown b El Elegido, Pimpinela Escarlata, Silver King

Guapito was with Elegido.

AAA has put up half it’s TV recap, but is missing everything past X-Pac/Zorro. Looks like Chessman is still alive, running in the main event to attack Charly and perhaps allying with the Legion. I’ll do the full post when the full results come out.

AAA also advertises the big cover story for Dos de Tres – Charly Manson getting 30,000 pieces of fan mail while he was out. Still can’t buy the magazine on the website.

Abismo Negro told Notimex that AAA and WWE are the best two promotions in the world, and all they need to do now is unify their championships. This post was an hour late because I just started daydreaming about the possibilities of Edge as AAA World Mega Champion. Abismo’s actual purpose for this interview was to talk about a spot show he’s promoting in Ixtapaluca on 03/08.

indy (FRI) 03/20 Arena San Juan Pantitlan [Black Terry Jr.]
1) Darketela, La Chola, Rossy Moreno vs Corazon de Fuego, Esther moreno, Flor Metalica
2) La Parkita, Mascarita Dorada, Mini Zumbido vs Mini cibernetico, Mini Ozz, Mini Scorpio
3) Dinamico Negro vs Casas Sola, Comando Rojo, Rey Famthom, Batman del Futuro, Miserbale, Ricky Ricon, Payaso Obscuro, Kid Star, el Colombiano [mask, hair]
4) Emilio Charles Jr. & Scorpio Jr. vs Cien Caras Jr. & Mascara Ano 2000 Jr. and Dr. Wagner Jr. & Veneno
5) Zumbido vs Intocable [hair]

Zumbido’s losing his hair, I see.

  1. I guess Alexis is done being angry at whoever he was pissed at b/c the CMLL Hi5 page is now public again.

Aguilita/Peq. Halloween showing up should quiet down the rumor mill. Either the mini’s can book themselves or the PdM guys created new versions of their smaller counterparts.

“2) La Parkita, Mascarita Dorada, Mini Zumbido vs Mini cibernetico, Mini Ozz, Mini Scorpio”

It’s probably Mascarita De Oro y Plata from Martha’s promotion.

  2. Of course in mentioning the Hi5 tidbit I forgot to also paste this:

“SOMBRA FUERA DE CIRCULACION 1 MES… CONSECUENCIA DE UNA APARATOSA LESION SUFRIDA ESTE PASADO DOMINGO 15 DE FEBRERO”

    :(

Now if Mistico is out too…

  3. Top two matches for AAA TV on 2/28 in Cuernavaca:

Mesias/Charly Manson/surprise luchador (someone find the poster!) vs Zorro/Ozz/Cuervo

    Parka/Crazzy Boy/Super Crazy vs Silver King/Lider/Nicho

  4. “5) Killer Clown, Psycho Clown, Zombie Clown b El Elegido, Pimpinela Escarlata, Silver King”

Correct me if i am wrong, but didn’t Silver King turn rudo?

AAA and WWE together? Boy all we need is to see Vickie Guerrero try and give a promo in spanish and get booed out of arenas saying her usual “EXCUUUUSSSSSSSSSSE ME!!”. I can see the card now:

Poder Norte and The Brian Kendrick Vs. Gato Everready, Aerostar, El Angel and Kofi Kingston
Cuervo, Escoria, Ozz, Espiritu Vs. Laredo Kid, Pimpinella Escarlotta, Evan Bourne, Ricky Ortiz
Natalya Neidhart, Cinthia Moreno, Oriental, Billy Boy Vs. Gran Apache, Fabi Apache, Mari Apache, Chavo Guerrero Jr.
Decnis, El Brazo, Miz and Morrison Vs. Super Porky, Elegido, Primo and Carlito
    Tiffany Vs. Melina
Joe Lider, Nicho El Millionaro and Matt Hardy Vs. Crazy Boy, Super Crazy and Jeff Hardy

    Double Main Event:
    1) Kenzo Suzuki, Jack Evans, Teddy Hart, Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiasse Vs. Gronda, Octagon, Silver King and Cryme Time

    2) Konnan, Electro Shock, Black Abyss and Rated RKO (Edge and Randy Orton) Vs. La Parka, Abismo Negro, Mesias, John Cena and Triple H.

Yeap, this will sell out in mexico!! The AAA/WWE dream card!

  5. @k.D.b: spot show lineups always are weeks behind TV lineups and I think Silver King probably turned on his partners anyway.

That would be one strange card.

  6. @LLL:I’m surprised Konnan hasn’t booked a Chicago show especially with the success of the one local group that runs in Cicero. Chicago would be great for AAA, or hell even CMLL or the Perros if they decided to do shows in the states, They could book the Pavillion or run in Cicero, hell have Konnan call me, I’d tell him what hotels to use and all.

@thecubsfan: It would be strange, but what if Vince actually decided to do it, just to see if it profited either side? If it failed, oh well, never do it again. If it worked, it would be the best PPV held in Mexico or Texas. Of course the last itme Vince worked with a mex fed, none of the fans could get into the wrestlers (save for Rey, Juvi, Nico and Super Crazy). Of course one can dream. Although I’d like to see Laredo Kid and Evan Bourne go one on one.

  7. Mr. Abismo Negro is my new favorite luchador for his cockamamie ideas, like a WWE/AAA merger. God bless that man.
