After all that, the tecnicos still held onto the belts.
Negro replaced Lizmark Jr. in the main event, Mascara Purpura replaced Dos Caras Jr. (improvement? late change for sure.) No Hijo del Cien Caras, Skandalo took his spot. Texano Jr. fouled Sagrado in the tercera for that DQ. Mini Halloween fouled Mascarita Dorada and got away with it for the minis pin.

I wonder if Axxel is done with CMLL for working this show, running against the CMLL special in GDL. I forgot he was announced for the card. Angel Blanco Jr.’s shown up in Arena Coliseo GDL plenty before, as a local outsider, but might face similar issues.
America Rocca replaced Rey Misterio Sr.
There’s a post on LMdLL saying Nueov Laredo wrestler Flecha Verde has passed away.
There’s a message board post on el Martinete saying shots were heard in Arena Coliseo Guadalajara last night.
You may think the news from this show in Merida with Santo/Intocable vs Zumbido/Crazy is notable for the massive amounts of empty seats. I think it’s notable for Santa Claus versus Batman on the undercard (and Santa working as a rudo!)
Ohtani’s Jacket looks at some recent Oficials & Freelance matches and hopes to get a match with the Oficials versus more solid wrestlers soon. Hope he gets the title change!
The Lucha Look-In looks at Mistico vs Avero

**Falls out of his chair laughing reading Santa Claus Vs Batman with Santa as a rudo**
To quote Larry the Cable Guy, “that’s funny right there.”
Thanks for the plug!
Ya got your results mixed if the technico’s won :)
Wished for the other finish, I guess.
Why? I like the finish since all the build indicated title change but the champs retain. Makes them look stronger even if they’ll eventually drop the belts to some makeshift team after a 2 week feud.
OJ wants to see the Oficiales against more solid workers? Freelance is very solid! Aeroman (Segura) is as well.
@Rob: I dunno if there’s a specific reason why I wanted a chance, other then it’d be neat to have a challenging team beat a champion team for the first time in at least a decade.
Last Sunday! Averno/Mephisto!
@Rob: I meant, but forgot to say, a challenging team beat a champion team for the Arena Coliseo Tag Team titles for the first time in a decade.
