11/08: Mexico, AOL, ByL, lineups

CMLL (FRI) 11/07 Arena Mexico [ESTO, SuperLuchas]
1) Ángel Azteca Jr. & Angel de Oro DQ Artillero & Súper Comando
2) Dark Angel, Lady Apache, Marcela b Amapola, Medussa, Princesa Sujei
3) Dragon Rojo Jr., Felino, Misterioso II b Máximo, Mictlán, Valiente
4) La Máscara, La Sombra, Mascara Dorada b Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto
5) Héctor Garza, Marco Corelone, Místico b Atlantis, Mr. Niebla, Último Guerrero

Mistico simply defeated UG with La Mistica. No storyline, no hook for next week. By the numbers; Mistico even got mask ripped off early and ran back for the save, as has happened before.

Averno and company were officially presented as La Juaria del Terror (the Hounds of Terror.) Terrible and Texano were mentioned as being part of the group, and the members were wearing a shirt reading “Dios perdona, pero a los otros no”, which is both a takeoff of the old Perros shirt with a similar phrase and seemingly an attack on those who left.

Seems like we need one more, don’t we? A sixth to round out the second trio.

indy (THU) 11/06 Arena Olimpico Laguna de Gomez Palacio [el siglo de torreon]
1) Insolito & Jerry Brown b Cadet de Atlantida I & Cadet de Atlantida II
2) Mini Maximo b Pentagoncito [LAGUNA MINI]
3) Mr. Guerrero & Psycho b Piloto Suicia & Sexy Piscis
4) Blue Panther & Último Guerrero b Villano III & Villano V

Panther beat Villano V here again, and challenged for a mask vs hair match. Villano V said okay – as long as the promoter gave him 3,000,000 pesos to put his mask on the line. Hmm, where could he have come up with that number?

They’re building towards a Mr. Guerrero/Piloto Suicida title match. Mini Maximo won the title via low blow. Today in Torreon, there’s a benefit show for Espanto Jr., trying to raise money for a procedure involving stem cells.

Quite a few Box Y Lucha articles worth noting

is back in AAA. Again. For now. According to to Abismo Negro, let’s note. Will he make it to Sunday?

Damian 666 says he just changed his mind between when he told Box Y Lucha he wasn’t going and when he left anyway. “There’s not the remotest possibility of working with AAA.”

ULtimo Dragoncito and Fire talk about their mask match.

Okumura is thrilled to be back tomorrow. He’s been out four months and had two operations, the second one after his body rejected the plate and screws from the first.

Lluvia talks about her debut. She has a degree in psychology, but she says she’s going to step away from that and focus on wrestling. If only there was a joke I could make here.

– Starting Monday, Televisa is airing RAW on Mondays on Channel 4. It will also continue to be on Sundays. I’d figure that being on Mondays would mean it’d be live, but there’s no specific mention of that here.

– Interviews with Arana Malignas from Tampico, and Sadico of Tamaulipas.

WagnerMania has lots of video from the last week. From Ras de Lona, the week’s finishes and the Perros focused promos. Also, from CTres, the Wagner main event.

SuperLuchas has video of Konnan Big vs Blue Demon Jr.

Noroeste has a column about D-Generation-Mex, Super Crazy, and Los Perros.

Luchaworld has Robert on IWRG 06/01/06, thef irst two roudns of the AULL tournamnet and KrisZ‘s news update.
