10/28: Mistico, Naucalpan, Damian 666

CMLL’s Blog says Mistico returns on 11/07, and Perro ran rather than face him.

IWRG (SUN) 10/26 Arena Naucalpan [SoloLuchas]
1) Anubis b Super Halcon Jr.
2) Eragon & Oficial 911 b Heavy Boy & Judas el Traidor
3) Pendulo b Multifacetico [IWRG IC WELTER, #1 Contenders]
4) Aeroman, Freelance, Jack DQ Oficial AK47, Oficial Fierro, Toxico AAA
5) Groon XXX, Head Hunter I, Veneno b Hijo del Cien Caras, Mascara Ano 2000, Mascara Ano 2000 Jr.

Veneno snuck in a foul on MA2K Jr. and Head Hunter splashed him for the big pin. Oficial 911 was randomly not in the trios match, so he ran in for the DQ. Multifacetico accidentally senton-ed the referee in the tercera, which was enough for the DQ. This card was pretty shuffled, and I presume what was announced for next Sunday will be too to accommodate the title match.

Way in the bottom corner of page 18 of Ovaciones Damian 666 says he’s not leaving CMLL with Perro Aguayo Jr. (Box Y Lucha’s link is a bit easier to find.) When he and Mr. Aguila were not mentioned in the possible new Averno/Mephisto led group, those rumors started, and now we’re just wondering about Aguila. Damian believes Aguila is staying as well, which means Perro Jr. might be leaving all by himself (well, except for the ticket buying people who are coming with him.)

CMLL’s blog also says Perro Aguayo Jr. is leaving to get on Solo Por Mujeres and be a telenovela actor beside starting the wrestling business.

ESTO’s preview of tonight’s show. No results from Sunday yet.

In the middle of the usual Dia de la Muerte art and showcases in the Zocalo neighborhood, Rey Lobo’s wrestlers will be having matches.

El Siglo de Durango profiles El Camaleon, who got his start after he was deported from El Paso.

Not only does this SLP show on 11/05 have Perro Aguayo Jr. back, but it says Verdugo is a member of the Villano Dynasty. If the past repeats, they’ll keep repeating Perro is wrestling here, interview the promoter to talk about how Perro is for sure wrestling here, and then mention he didn’t wrestle the day after.

Guerreros del Ring #163 has Dragon Rojo Jr.

Romero and Casas in NJPW – 10/26: WIN over Liger & Yoshihashi (Romero over Yoshihashi) (non G1)
Volador Jr. in TNA – 10/27: LOSS, teaming with Tanahashi, beaten by the Machine Guns (Sabin pins Volador in almost 4 minutes.) If you go to NJPW’s site, you can almost see Volador in a picture. Also, the Spanish to Japanese to English translation of Volador’s name is Bora Doll Jr.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update. WrestlingObserver has it’s AAA recap.

CMLL (WED) 10/29 Gimnasio Ricardo Flores Magon [Noticias-Oax]
1) Zorro (Oaxaca) vs Rigo Cisnero
2) Lalo el Laco vs Fantasma (Oaxaca)
3) Bam Bam & Mascarita Sagrada vs Pequeño Damian 666 & Pequeño Halloween
4) Sangre Azteca & Terrible vs Marco Corelone & Último Guerrero
5) Blue Panther & Dr. Wagner Jr. vs Mr. Niebla & Villano V

AAA (SUN) 11/02 Arena Coliseo Monterrey [RFC]
1) Baby Fox vs Mr. Secuestro
2) Atomic Boy & Fabi Apache vs Mari Apache & Mini Kenzo Suzuki
3) ?, Billy Boy, Vegas IV vs Ángel Mortal, Gallego, Mr. Cóndor
4) Brazo de Plata, El Alebrije, Laredo Kid vs Decnnis, El Brazo, Escorpion Negro Jr.
5) La Parka Jr. & Mesias vs Nicho el Millionario & Zorro

Are they bringing back the Vegas gimmick because we might have figured out who is who on the wiki and they want to add another level of difficulty? I think so. Anyone want to take bets on when AAA pulls out here again? I’m going early January.

  1. BTW, SuperLuchas saying they’re not going to write anything more about Dos Caras and WWE until there’s an offical announcement on WWE.com proves they’re so much smarter than me.

  2. BOO I was hoping for some Estrellita on that ACM card. That main event could be interesting. Sure they will mail it in but hopefully no Konnan.

  3. @Kyle: I don’t mind how the match looks at all aside from Jack (who might be one of the ex-Ninja Turtles?).

Here’s a weird thing though… the latest Azteca IWRG show that Lover_Ice uploaded had Goleador/Zatura vs Carta Brava Jr./I forget and the main had Gronda/Multifacetico/someone I forget vs Solitario Jr./MA2K/someone I forget. But the results archive has no such show like that. Que pasa? Phantom show?

  4. @Rob: IWRG (SUN) 07/27 Arena Naucalpan
    1) Eragon b Comando Gama
    2) Goleador & Zatura b Fantasma de la Ópera & Xibalva
    3) Black Terry, Ciclon Negro, Negro Navarro b Centauro, Chico Che, Ultramán Jr.
    4) Mujer Demente & Rossy Moreno b Lady Rabbit & Martha Villalobos
    5) Hijo del Cien Caras & Mascara Ano 2000 Jr. b Scorpio Jr. & Zumbido [IWRG IC TAG]
    6) Groon XXX, Multifacético, Super Astro b el Hijo del Pierroth, El Hijo del Solitario, Mascara Ano 2000

    Closest fit I could find.

  5. each match could be from a different show. Zatura teamed with Eragon against Carta Brava and Drakot Kid a month ago. it could be that match with the main from the July show. both matches took place in the same arena.

  6. I noticed that discrepancy a while ago and then figured out what happened, but I don’t remember anymore.

  7. @Rob: My comments were supposed to do that. But I guess I can see why that might be a problem and should change that back. Not sure if I took out the Anon posts in the same change…

  8. Volador Jr. in TNA update. Volador teamed with Tanahashi once again. They wrestled in a ladder match for a future tag title shot. The other teams in that match were Team 3D, LAX and Abyss & Matt Morgan (w).

  9. :(, Fabi is married to Billy Boy (this is true), lucky son of a gun Billy BOy.

You would think Billy would have a Triple H type of deal where he moves up from the undercard, but…

  10. Speaking of the IWRG TV cookery, does anyone know when the taping was for the 10-27 TVC show? I’m guessing the 24th, since Cubs doesn’t have results and the tag hair match didn’t happen. Black Terry is scheduled in the semi teaming with Fuerza, but I’m guessing a lineup change could’ve happened.

  11. The one that just went up on PWT? Fuerza/Terry was the semi-main. For some reason they never aired the main and aired the opener which NEVER gets TV instead.

  12. C is correct. When the heck was that show taped? Nothing matches up. Perhaps that was taped on 10/24 and the entire card had to be reshuffled due to the hair match being held off? Still doesn’t explain who no-showed or why so many guys were subbed in and out.
